How in the world did we go from the patriarchy to women having all these rights nowadays? I don’t know of any invasions of women removing men from power by force. Since women used to not have a say in government, how come they’re now able to have a say?

I think the old ways led to the "halo effect" where women are seen as more inherently virtuous. I just don't think it turned out to be that way under a feminist influenced society.
