Did anyone see this? Biden leading Trump by 8 on the latest Fox poll.
Does that mean Republican voters will stop watching Fox?
If they take Trump's advice, they might stop watching Fox. Fox has always leaned right, but they do have limits to what they present as "real news." They can spin things a little, but don't expect outright lies. They have their credibility to think of. Trump doesn't seem to understand that.
Trump Encourages Followers to Watch OANN or Newsmax, Not Fox News
President Donald Trump lashed out at Fox News over the weekend, declaring his Twitter followers would be better off tuning into one of the conservative-leaning network’s competitors.
“@FoxNews weekend afternoons is the worst! Getting into @CNN and MSDNC territory. Watch @OANN & @newsmax instead. Much better!” the president wrote Sunday afternoon, not missing the opportunity to insult CNN or MSNBC while heralding One America News and Newsmax.
The source of his ire was the network’s polling, which has been showing him losing November’s presidential election to former vice president Joe Biden in recent weeks: “@FoxNews gladly puts up the phony suppression polls as soon as they come out. We are leading in the REAL polls because people are sick & tired of watching the Democrat run cities, in all cases, falling apart. Also, now 96% Approval Rating in the Republican Party. Another 2016!” he wrote.
Governor Walker of Wisconsin had another way of countering the polls --he says there's a "silent majority."
Scott Walker: Silent Majority for Trump in Wisconsin Is Real
Former Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI) said a silent majority of voters in Wisconsin support President Donald Trump, and polls in the Badger State did not reflect the outcomes of gubernatorial elections he won in 2010 and 2014. He offered his remarks on Wednesday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight with special guest host Jerome Hudson.
Hudson asked, “Is there a secret Trump vote brewing in the country, or particularly in Wisconsin?”
Walker replied, “Yes, and there’s no doubt about it. We’ve historically seen — I’ve seen it my four statewide elections — that the polls were notoriously off in terms of people like me, and just Republicans in general. I think that case is even more intense for this president, just because of all the abuse and all the attacks and all the grief that people get for even hinting it.”
If it's such a secret, how does he know about it? What's he saying: Republicans don't have phones, they have them but don't answer them, or they lie to pollsters because they're ashamed to admit how they vote?
