Have you noticed that certain people who would openly admit or act like they never need anything from you, would however need you so they can gossip about you. These people literally spend their money, time and energy talking about you maliciously, it's almost a part-time job.

So they do need you, so much so.

I figure if a person is gossiping about someone else for some comparative reasoning, then they really do need them for something.
