I dont think it matters anymore that some translations of the bible have errors in them because there are tons of free online tools and programs that can easily take us into the original language of the text like for instance

With resources like this then all one needs is a study program and go verse by verse. and truth will grow because, you're right, there's quite a bit that is misunderstood because of a poor translation. But with resources like these it doesnt matter because you wind up reading the original language and text that was in place before any translations came along.

It takes longer to read this way but it's worth it.

And it is necessary. For far too long, people just accepted the teachings of a man as their "easy button." Whether or not the man gave truth was not really considered. We shouldn't really claim that we study the scriptures when our Christian life in guided by a Sunday School book.

There were many that hated Yeshua also. The world likes their sin, and many who claim to follow Christ are against open sinfulness. The world doesn't want to feel guilt for their behavior, so they hate those who may cause them to feel the guilt.

WHY did the world hate JESUS .
They hate me because i testify that its works are evil .
The world cannot hate you , but me it hates for i testify that its works are evil .
WHY is it that a man does not come to CHRIST .
For men loved darkness and will not come to the LIGHT lest their sins be CORRECTED , REPROVED .
WHY does the world hate true christains . cause as CHRIST came not TO PLEASE MAN

Exactly spyder . and this is why i knew seeker friendly was a disaster the day i learned about it .
THEY went door to door asking the so called unchurched what made them leave
and how can we make it better . THAT my friend was a recipe for disaster RIGHT THERE .
OF course the unchurched are gonna tell ya why they left and what would bring them back .
AND THEY DID . that was why correction of sins and etc WAS REMOVED
and big ol dance concerts and sermons of make me feel good was so heavily brought in .
WHEN WE PANDER to the lost to win the lost , WELL numbers will grow quickly
but the souls who came , came FOR A WHOLE OTHER REASON , cause finally they had a god
who offered salvation and did not correct their sinful behavoirs . ONLY THAT AINT GOD OR CHRIST .
they came to another image OF what they BELIEVE IS GOD , IS HIS LOVE
when men seek to please men , THEY ARE NOT the servant of CHRIST .
Pleasing men OFFENDS GOD , because that which is pleasingto man , IS SIN . DIDNT bode too well
for them churches did it . OH THEY GOT BIG , but man it went down hill and fast .

I agree, but it takes a certain mindset to want to look up the original language and educate yourself in how ancient Geek and Hebrew work, but I'm an engineer. Most people aren't wired like that.

There are lots of body parts and we need all of them.

I'm not going to chastise a little old lady for her poor Bible study skills, that is so good at bringing meals to those in need.
Let her operate in her gifts and I in mine.

one would marvel at how these little old ladies who beleive on JESUS and do good things
spend time in the bible and in prayer . And how paul and others would remind even her
as they did the church , to learn them holy scrips .

Spyder , what i write next i do not know whether you are aware and know this or not .
But my advice is that we stay far from this cup of finding common ground interfaith produced stuff .
It has led to the lie . and it will lead many more right to the lie in the days ahead .
The lie that sayeth , the christain truth is no better than the muslim or any other religoins truth .
YOU SEE they want us to beleive we all serve the same God . and believe me the gospel of BELIEVE YE IN JESUS the CHRIST
has been removed . beware for many are already under its influence
and if they stay that course will believe the lie . watch out its influence is all over the place .

you do realize that there are people in the church that believe in new age
and that while they sure can do a lot of good works , BOY are they are deadly danger .
In fact i bet if someone stood up and read a lot of the new testament to them
MANY in the church would bark at them , even denying the very words of CHRIST and the apostels
as they hold to lies and to sins . DOCTRINE DOES MATTER . what one and who one Believes IN does matter .
cause if one believes not in JESUS the CHRIST , but either in some other sin accpeting jesus
or etc , MAN are they decieved . but for years our churches were broken down from within
and remolded by an image that sold , SOME truths and yet even now uses some truths TO Point to a lie .

THEY often talk about feeding the poor doing good works . TRUE
THEY often say GOD created us all . TRUE
THEY say GOD desires none to perish . TRUE .
BUT USE THESE WORDS of TRUTH in implant a LIE . Rather than correcting sin and UNBELIEF
they use this love as a means to imply a lie . soon many will buy that lie .
the lie that omits the DIRE NEED TO BELIEVE ON JESUS as the CHRIST
and rather just believes our truth is no better than any other religoins , LETS JUST LOVE and do good works .
THEY ALL gonna believe it dont matter what religoin on is in
if they just loved and did good works well they did serve GOD .
