We see the news coming out..

It is what we are hearing from the speakers at the UN, we can have 'Peace and Safety', if we only do this. We have the President bringing up a almost 20 year agreement to justify moving to institute a ceasefire, but the 2006 agreement was never followed by the same party attacking Israel today. They can claim they have a way to find peace, but prophecy gives us insight to what will happen.

1 Thessalonians 5:3
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

We see today what is clearly a world without fear of God, who is allowing every possible abomination to be done. But although the world rejects Him, God does not abandon us, He among His people. No matter how bad things appear, God's presence is here, and we can draw hope and have faith from knowing He is with His saints no matter what.

He is our refuge and strength, He is the source of lasting peace and security. Though the world is in turmoil, the people of God are safe, no matter the anger and turmoil we see. But as for the world, they can claim they have a path to peach but destruction awaits them...

This prophecy in 1 Thessalonians 5:3, goes on to tell us: then, sudden destruction will come upon them.

So we need to establish who are those who will say; ‘At last we have peace and safety’, and who the sudden destruction will fall upon.
We can be sure this is about the latter days, as it refers to the prophecy in Matthew 24:8 All these things are the birth pangs of the new age.

We also know that it will happen before Jesus Returns, as Paul tells us in 1Thessalonians 4:16 The Lord will come from heaven with a shout; the voice of an archangel and the trumpet of God.

Whereas at this sudden destruction, before the Return: He will come unexpectedly.
This event is obviously the multi prophesied Day of the Lord’s fiery wrath; the Sixth Seal worldwide disaster. The Lord will not be seen on that Day, He will SEND His fiery wrath. Amos 1, Psalms 11:4-6

The focal point of God’s Plan on earth, is the holy Land, the place His eyes are fixed upon. Deuteronomy 11:11-12
The situation there has been extremely volatile for many years, but recently there has been a change, with the war in Gaza and Lebanon. Now, a peace agreement has been made and this considerable improvement toward stability and peace in the region, has resulted in many comments of optimism and hope for peace and safety at last for Israel and the Islamic peoples. All who are happy about this; are the first ‘they’.

EXCEPT for Iran and their proxies. The Islamic code of Al-Takkya, means they can; in fact: are actually encouraged to tell lies to their enemies. They are celebrating this peace agreement as a victory, to give them time to regroup and rearm.

The saying "peace and safety" in 1Thessalonians5:3 will not be until after the Gog/Magog event of Ezekiel 38-39.

The reason for saying "peace and safety" will be because the world at that time will think it has entered the messianic age with Antichrist as the king of Israel perceived messiah.

But it will be a false messianic age. And the delusion of peace and safety will be suddenly shattered when about 3 years into the 7 years of Ezekiel 39:9, the Antichrist commits the Transgression of Desolation act of 2Thessalonians2:4.

During the first portion of the 7 years, the temple will be rebuilt (downsized, to get the animal sacrifices going again as quickly as possible).

It should be noted that the Jews (Judaism) believe that messiah will take part in the rebuilding of the temple.
