Fellow Christians, I would like to hear of the time/ moment when you truly felt the presence of the Lord and you knew at that point you were signed, sealed, and delivered to Christ.

I'll give a breif account of my own....
Within the last few months I decided and I had denied Him enough. I always believed in Him and knew he was watching me but I didnt give him control and over questioned him. I soon found out that it was my own fault because of the decisions I made.

So, while I was driving down the highway one day I was fighting some serious demons...... I could litterally feel (them) fighting to keep control of me as I was starting to really listen to God... That is one of the most intense feelings I have ever had. It didnt take long before Christ of course won because I cried out to God to take control of my life because I knew I was wrong and He was the way. I could swear by it, I felt like I had lost weight at that moment. I cried for hours straight but the fears I was having during that time were gone. I had horrible anxiety and it was gone.

My friends, it has only gottens stronger and the miracles I have seen Him perform in my life have been overwhelming!!!! Praise be to God almighty!!!!!

There ya go!!! Your turn!!!

17 years ago nuns told me I was going to hell for my sexual sins. It caused me to get on my knees and speak to God. I told Him I approve of all Jesus taught and thanked Him for dying for me. I told Him that I love my sin and can't imagine a life without it. He told me not to focus on the sin but on Him. That night I spent the whole night in deep prayer with Him. The next time the opportunity arose for sin I saw an image of the cross in my mind. I just couldn't go back to that sin. To this day I am free from those mortal sins. I thank the nuns for their tough love and I thank Jesus for never giving up on me.

Born_Again,

Your story is inspiring! Praise God for delivering you from your fears and anxieties! I can imagine the war raging for your soul in that moment and gotta say Hallelujiah to that!

KingJ,
I am so glad to hear you have not turned away since being set free! I absolutely love love love your image of the cross to help you abstain from caving into the fleshly desires. I too have recently learned to remind myself that Jesus did not die for me to sin but to live for him! :)

I guess i'll share my story.

Growing up was tough and i grew up fast. Parents divorced when i was 9 and i was used to taking care of myself and parenting my parents. when i was 11 my mom started taking my siblings and i to a foursqure church and at furst i felt so uncomfortable and asked why they sang so long haha but i finally decided to listen and open my heart and let Jesus into my heart and since then such a weight has been lifted. My relationship with my mom has gotten so much better. and God blessed me with a Godly stepfather and two precious siblings. Still growing in the faith and it has been 6 years since and I am so grateful for how it has all played out!
