ya, i am slowly training myself to just not engage with certain people due to strife, while at the same time striving in another sense. A balancing act, iow. I'm still pretty bad at it, end up reacting instead of replying...but i also note that without a contender, i would not be able to work on my speaking in tongues, which is making progress. Interesting to me to watch a gentle poster get harangued without reacting, kind of ends up boomeranging, to a reader, etc.

what a shame that 3.34am is not the same 3.34am in every time zone...then we could all Skype or FaceTime and have an online party!

This sou D's amusing somehow. Like who would be making more noise? The one opening curtains due to sunrise or the one closing g them due to sunset?

I should have something on my mind that I want to talk about...I can usually talk about anything ( so my husband says...but that's when he is flipping the remote control)
But no...my mind is totally blank today.
I think my life is shrinking....Canadians turn into hermits in the winter months...so maybe the brain goes to sleep!!

I don't turn into a hermit. And my brain doesn't go to sleep. I like winter because we can dress for it. That can be harder here in summer. And no bed bugs in winter!

I've found myself arguing ... I do not like the 'me' that keeps on arguing.

It happens. I recently engaged in as much myself, nor was I happy with myself for it. Do not let it bring you down, for like all of us at times, we stumble.

Well I'll tell ya, there are times that I would gladly trade it all just to experience that simple and pure faith that I have witnessed in some. It is something that for whatever knowledge I may or may not have, I can not for the life of me grasp that simple and pure faith. That of a child. It is truly beautiful from my perspective.

We are called of our loving Father. We each have our various gifts, and those gifts work together for the good of all.

For all my years, I am still in awe to watch even on this forum, how the Holy Spirit works in the lives of us, and how one sows and another waters even on this forum.

Let no one deceive you! You, ByGrace, Helen, you are a part of that greater good. Now get up dear Sister, for our Father has work for you to continue.

Oh I am with you there, we have all the NCIS Seasons...we are great fans.
Can't believe that it can last much longer...they have done well. with it...wow 15 seasons!!!
Not been very keen at all on 'NCIS New Orleans'...but we just ( tonight) finished season 3 , we were delighted with it. ( the accents bothered me in seasons 1 and 2)...but #3 is well worth the watch. But Mark Harmon is the BEST

Yes, I have something on my mind.

I'd like to know if anyone else gets what I get when on my lap top.

I am typing away and all of a sudden ( after much too long) I notice that what and where I am typing is right in the middle of what I have already written!!
Today has been particularly bad. Heaven knows how many things I have written , only to find that it is slap band in the middle of my post.

Why does my curser or whatever it is...jump unto what was previously written like that?
Any ideas?

Wow this is an old thread!...I miss some of the older, wiser members as well. I think a couple of them had health issues...one lost his wife but he has been here on and off...just not frequently.
What's on my mind? Mostly being drawn to enter into intercessory prayer....looking through the forum to see if anything is laid on my heart...maybe the older members would be something to intercede for.

I really wish I could locate the 'start a new post' button. Debates about doctrine are not very interesting to me. I do enjoy discussions about who God is, what God wants from us, and the like. I really like to mix science with my religion, but I cannot find the correct button to "start a new post". I'm probably being a duffus and its probably right in front of my eyes - but I can't see it.
