That depends on what Jesus decides to do. He can save you at any time, but if you refuse to repent of your sin, is he going to keep saving you?

No. The Lord will come in and save you from the the consequences of your sin, but as time goes on, he expects you to learn from your mistakes, and if you don't, his discipline can be quite severe.

14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

So you have to hear Jesus speaking to you from heaven, be struck blind and then have someone pray for your sight and then you get saved?
Seems unlikely, but that’s how Paul did it. Is that what he meant by a pattern?
