Really? How are @BreadOfLife and I "creating more distrust" in the CC?

Curious Mary
I wanted to use a word stronger than DISTRUST,
but I TRY to live by my Christain values.
That word was strong enough.

I think you both should cease and desist.
You're doing the CC no favor.

But continue....
As Christianity goes down in ashes,
we continue to "discuss"....

THEY WERE MARRYING AND GIVING IN MARRIAGE...
etc.

Soooo you make an accusation! I ask you to explain/defend your allegation! In your response you don't explain/defend your allegation! Instead you double down by telling me and @BreadOfLife what to do (cease/desist) and then make the same accusations (doing the CC no favor). :IDK:

So you have made the accusation TWICE and still haven't' explained yourself or given evidence. Soooo when someone makes an accusation without evidence that is commonly referred to as a lie or false allegation!

Also, it is very strange that YOU, a Protestant that allegedly attends a Catholic Church, tells 2 Catholics that they are not doing any favors for and creating distrust in The Church. But it is ok for YOU to say what you want about The Church even though what you say about The Church is wrong of which I previously pointed out with evidence. The mind of a kindergartener can figure out how dishonest you are and how bizarre your stance is but you can't figure it out? :IDK:

Yes. Christianity is going down in ashes. Why you ask? Well, thanks for asking GG: Because 500 years ago people like you started to protest against the 1,500+ year teachings of The Church and created their own church doctrine and started their own churches. The Protestant hero, Luther, led the way but then later complained that There are as many sects and beliefs as there are heads. This fellow will have nothing to do with baptism; another denies the Sacrament; a third believes that there is another world between this and the Last Day. Some teach that Christ is not God; some say this, some say that. There is no rustic so rude but that, if he dreams or fancies anything, it must be the whisper of the Holy Spirit, and he himself a prophet!

Luther could see why Christianity was going down in ashes, but YOU can't when you are one of the "fellows" he is talking about? coffee: :pfite:

In a previous post you said something about "soil of sin" indicating it was different than original sin. I asked you, What is this soil of sin you speak of if not original sin?

You never answered and I am sincerely curious about it. I have never heard of this theory. Sooooo are you going to explain it to me or dodge it again?

The Woman is wearing a crown of 12 stars which symbolizes BOTH the 12 Tribes of Israel and the 12 Apostles. She gives birth toa son who will rule with an iron rod, which is Mary.
You keep reading the same words I do, but you keep adding words that are not in the text, like "Mary".

Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
Rev 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
Rev 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

So, I read English. I read those words. I do not read the letters 'M-a-r-y' in that order anywhere in Rev. 12:1-6. Why do you?

Hi Rechoired
I'd like to add that, regarding Rev 12:2 it sounds like it may NOT be Mary because the CC teaches that Mary birthed Jesus painlessly.
So if Jesus was born without pain, how could Rev 12 be speaking of Mary...

Rev does have some verses that are agreed upon by everyone, but others are just to figurative to be used to create doctrine.

1. Since you did not respond to my question about "soiled sin" then you, in my opinion, did dodge it.

You are correct. I don't "understand your posts about this". That is why I am asking you to explain it because I don't understand.

As I have proven with quoted facts from the ECF's in post #1,660 original sin was not imputed to each individual until Augustine.

You have ONCE AGAIN talked about original sin of which we agree on; original sin always existed.

What you have not done yet is explain your theory on "soiled sin".

Patient Mary

2. Anyone reading along with HALF of a brain can see the damage you're doing to the CC.
The BISHOP of your parish would beg you to stop.

3. HOW MANY TIMES MUST I SAY THIS: I'm NOT PROTESTANT.

And with that I wish you a good night.
2. In our conversation no one else has made a public accusation of me damaging The Church except you. If or when they do make that public accusation I will tell them the same thing I told you: Prove it with evidence. If you don't have evidence it is a lie. If it is a lie you should apologize.

After several request you ONCE AGAIN have not presented any evidence but instead suggested that anyone with half a brain can see what you are seeing and that even the bishop of my parish would agree with you. THAT IS NOT EVIDENCE. THAT IS DODGING. That is doubling (by this time tripling) down with no evidence. Give your evidence GG or apologize.

3. If not Protestant, what are you?

Protestant:
a member of any of several church denominations denying the universal authority of the Pope.....

Does the Pope have authority over you?

Mary

Click the link it will take you straight to it. Page numbers at the top middle.
OK. I thought you meant on here.
You did a lot of work on your site.

This has a lot to do with eschatology and I'm not about to get into a discussion on matters of which I know very little.
But Daniel 10:21 states that the speaker has to get back to Michael the angel prince.

So how could Michael the angel prince be Jesus if it sounds like it might be Jesus speaking to Daniel?

And what does Rev 12:7 have to do with Jesus?
It clearly speaks of Michael fighting.
Michael is the protector angel.

I'm sorry I just don't feel able to go on about this.

I will say that this idea of yours is brand new and brand new ideas do not attract me.
Seems like the new stuff is always almost wrong.

Mary
NOT THIS ONE.
Only GOD has authority over anyone.
You'll go to heaven based on what YOU obeyed of Jesus' teachings...
not any Pope.

Believe what you will Mary.
I don't have time for this.

That’s because I never added “Mary’s” name to the text. Please TRY to engage in an honest dialogue.

I was explaining to you WHO (Mary) and WHAT (Israel, the Church) the text was talking about.
As I explained to you before – this symbolic text is polyvalent.

No – I read your silly objections and the lengths you had to go to in order to change the meaning of the text. Apparently, you’re not familiar with Biblical type and fulfillment. The situations don’t have to be identical.

Moses was a type of Jesus – and I can point to MANY inconsistencies in their lives . . .
