It is a very religious and holy day to me. A special time with the family. A special day of worship.
But it probably not Christ’s birthday, just the day we celebrate it on.
But I am fine with you not celebrating Christmas. Do you celebrate any holidays?
I celebrate Xmas as a family holiday no different than any other holiday like 4th of July, labor day, Easter (also not a religious holiday). But there are no religious holidays that were celebrated in the New Testament; the only day revered is Sunday, the 1st day of every week, which is to honor the Lord and partake of the Lord's supper in remembrance of him.

I have addressed this several times.

It is your beliefs and I am not going to belittle you for your beliefs except to say in general the “Bible Only” people generally do not understand the Bible or 1st century Christianity.
Bible Only people pretend to do and believe only what the Bible says and no additions or changes.

1. The Bible only has 2 holidays…the Sabbath which Jewish-Christians were still observing in the Temple and sacrificing animals…if they came to the Temple and refused to sacrifice animals they would have been either kicked out or killed.

And the Jewish-Christians observed the Passover, and the sacrificial lamb.

2. The Bible does not have a requirement for wedding ceremonies to be married.

3. The Old or New Testament does not put an end to polygamy or concubinage or selling daughters into concubinage.

4. The Bible does not put an end to slavery.

5. Arranged marriages for daughters continued as a common practice in Christianity until the 19th century and which point it slowed down and brides were still bought like property.

6. New Testament does not recognize Sunday as a Christian Holy Day. That occurs after the biblical period.

The Bible documents the first 65 years or so of Christianity. Christianity continued on under the Trinity’s influence. The Jewish-Christian sect died out around the 1st century and the Gentile-Christians took the helm of the Church. Yes they brought in some of their customs but not the worship of Pagan gods. The Apostle Paul gave no resistance to this.

The custom of wedding ceremonies was brought into Christianity by the Gentile-Christians. And they did have ceremonies voluntarily. But still the first documented Christian wedding ceremony does not occur until the 9th century. I am sure more occurred before that. But the Bible had no part of this. The Protestants made church wedding ceremonies a requirement to be married in the 16th century. The Catholic Church followed suite shortly after.

The weekly observance of the Lord’s day
was established by the Gentile-Christians to celebrate Christ’s resurrection and sunrise services replaced Passover and was observed on the Sunday during the Passover period.

The Gentile-Christians considered Yeshua as a full fledged God.

As it is Bible Only people pick and choose what they want to believe, not necessarily biblical. Because most do not really know the Bible.

I don't know what you're point is other than condemnation of using God's word, the bible, which i do, as opposed to using other man-made, unscriptural, documents, which are over and above God's word and not to be used as supplemental to God's word. There are sufficient warnings in both the OT and NT for doing exactly what you appear to adhere to. We are NOT to add to or take away from God's word.

I do not understand why you do not understand.

Never said anything bad about the Bible or scriptures, just stated the facts about the Bible and People who base their beliefs on Bible only.

I do not care if you are Bible only but you have to face up to the facts as to what the Bible says. And you cannot add to the scriptures.
