When it comes to looking for a spouse often what is often being looked for is someone to spend the bulk of your life with and if you have kids, to raise them up in a way you find agreeable. There is no cookie cutter to spousal preferences. Some preferences is a must. Some just what you generally look for.

To begin. I’ve already found a woman who is what I’m looking for. This is just out of boredom and curiously what others here look for. How they determine and why it’s important to them.

For me there are a few things I look for.

1. Physical attraction. Which to me is someone physically fit and healthy. Must be a cis woman. Typical feminine look. By that I mean I’m not into woman with short hair uses HGH in the gym.

2. I look for someone who is spiritually inclined. Not necessarily boxed into any one interpretation faith. Someone who recognizes Jesus as more than just a prophet. I look for someone with a leaning towards biblical scholarly consensus. Accomondationism. Preferably into Omnism and syncretism aspects of Christianity.

3. They must be progressive and liberal. I just can’t see myself with a conservative woman. Ideologies are two different.

4. They just be science accepting. Someone who understands ecology, environmentalism and climate change and accepts the scientistic consensus.

5. Someone who is vegetarian or vegan.

6. Since I want to home school any kids for numerous reasons i want a woman who has a bachelors. Someone who I can trust to be able to teach the kids. Home schooling is also important because I believe the public school system is lacking and the private schools around me are very much into concordistic versions of the faith. This also means a woman who is not particularly looking for an office career but can leave few times a year for vacationing to travel parks and head out often on weekends. Can def have a career, that is fluid in movement or done form a computer anywhere type of stuff.

7. Someone who is into being outside more than inside. I hike a lot. I travel often. Camp and stuff. Enjoy kayaking and biking and so on.

Hello @Skovand,

I do not. I’m probably better off alone.
Well that’s the good thing about freedom. Some choose to be single and celibate, some choose to be single but go on a handful of dates with women. Some prefer to date just one woman. Some like being in polyamorous relationships or marriages. To each their own.

I suppose it's a moot question for me.

I met the girl who would be my wife in high school, and while it would be another 12 years before we married, still, I knew she was who I wanted, and that never changed. And in the 35 years we've been married, both of us are completely convinced this was God's perfect plan for us.

Much love!

It wasn't for many years that we realized the depth of commonality with us. I didn't date, I don't consider women to be something to be shopped. I had a strong attraction to her at many levels. I was never not sure.

Much love!

I’m a bit curious, you feel that when two people go on dates getting to know each other that it’s objectifying them as if they are shopping for a woman? With an obvious negative connotation. As in, you think taking women on dates is a bit inappropriate and objectifying them?

I can't speak towards any particular individual. As I've seen some of what goes on, no, I don't believe what is commonly called "dating". I believe in "arranged marriage, the arranger being God Himself. Let Him bring the woman to you.

Much love!
