I would love to eat a truly fresh fig.
I haven't even seen one since I left California in 1985. Strangely I have a memory of the taste after all these years. I presume that dried figs could be had here, but I have never looked for them. I liked figs but there are other available fruits that I prefer. They have seldom come to my mind.

Now that looks delicious. Raspberries are my favourite fruit.
Thanks, it was delicious. I have been advised by my specialist to limit my sugars. But every now and then I can eat something delicious.

I'm the same but in answer to prayer my sugar levels have come right down.

Wonderful news!
It's brilliant isn't it. In the summer my doc was so concerned about my sugar levels that he referred me to a diabetic centre with readings averaging around 15.0- 16.0 now they're down to averaging around 8.0 with some days seeing all three readings down under 7.7 and often down as far as 4.5. My doc was impressed. I think now that my two stays in hospital during the summer were planned so that had a chance to have two short chats with diabetic nurses to make me realise I had been managing it all wrong. I haven't really changed my diet just my eating habits as I used to snack a lot. I don't any more.

I like hearing healing stories. Can you explain more about not snacking. I would like to learn your breakthru.
