He never called us to abandon our fellowship either... Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. - Hebrews 10:25... Too many turning to electronic media these days!

Agree with both.
I see a church building as a place intended for the curious, eager to learn, prayer…
With sideline creeping in of gossip, clicks, distractions and often “good enough”, without emphasis on verification, or the necessity to establish context or verify.

I see “Christ’s Church”, with-IN a Sanctifi-Ed individual, that fellowships “wherever” they are gathered with one or more others and “have” a continual dialogue / conversation (prayer), with the Lord throughout their day.

Glory to God,

We don't need a church building to go to

What we do need is each other. Don't ever forget that (even when we can't stand to be around each other). The building just gives us a central meeting place, whether it's Prisca's and Aquila's house (reference Romans 16:4-5 and 1 Corinthians 16:9) or a building with pretty stained-glass windows.

I always remember Dun an Campbellwho when converted as a teenager faithfully attended his local dead church, and whose faithful witness was a contributing factor in the conversion of the minister.

We attend church, whether a long established ancient building, a modern construction a meeting in a school hall. Or a house, not for what we get out of it, but for what we contribute.

We are the encouragement, the rebuke, the challenge to others I that place.
