Hopefully, you have a little more imagination than that. Mary didn't "fly."

The false teaching that Mary's dead body, not her NEW BODY, but her OLD DEAD BODY....>"dead in Sin", .. flew (ascended) to heaven, is the Sci-fi imagination that makes Star Wars seem like Mickey Mouse.

I doubt you and I will agree on which is 18th century fad theology and what flows directly from the Deposit of Faith.
Well, at least we're both Trinitarians, both accept the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist, and both think "this rock" in Matt. 16:18 was a reference to Peter. (And I'm not Catholic!) Better to dwell on points of agreement, wouldn't you say?

Absolutely!
Permit me to get radical. "Mary a sinner" and "Mary had other children" are diabolical inventions because they both diminish the uniqueness of the Incarnation. But that's not you, is it.

I don't think it's me, although I have trouble seeing how Mary's having conjugal relations with Joseph after the birth of Jesus could ever be a "sin," so it would not scandalize me to learn that Jesus had younger siblings. I don't know that he did or didn't. Bible references on the question seem ambiguous to me.

Do you believe that our God, Who "with all things are possible" (Matt. 19:26), was capable of preserving the soul of the Mother of God Incarnate (or Mother of Jesus) from becoming subject to the law of the first parents (inheriting the original sin of the inclination towards disobedence, and thus committing sins)? Either you do or don't.
Mary was subject to sin, as all born in the flesh are, even Jesus, except Jesus is the ONLY ONE Who never sinned. Making Mary co-equal with Jesus Christ is an ABOMINATION.

I didn't ask you if Mary was a sinner. I asked, "Do you believe God was capable or incapable of preserving the soul of Mary from the stain of original sin?" Which is it?

The problem is Bible cults reject the doctrine of Original Sin, and the prot-god is incapable of preventing Mary from original sin. Made-in-America quasi-Christians reject even the reformers take on Mary's sinlessness, yet they are "experts" on end time persecution, while they persecute Catholics with blatant lies and falsehoods.
Yes, I get angry with ignorant anti-Catholic bigots, it's a problem I have, but I am working on it.

Original sin is easier to explain than it is to see the justice in. I read 2 Baruch 23:4 (“when Adam sinned and death was decreed against those who should be born”) -- and I think, why is that a just decree?

2 Baruch 23:4 doesn't say death was a just decree, it says death was decreed against those who should be born. How a word is used depends on the context. If you want, you can see my post on Original Sin by Scott Hahn in post #43 on this page.

Not sure what you mean here. Obviously 2 Baruch doesn't say its a just decree. I can't see how it could be just. Can you?

Yes. Good thing nobody around here is doing that!

If anyone here prays to Mary, that... is an example of doing an abomination. Mary, cannot save anyone. ONLY The Father through His Son JESUS CHRIST can save.

Acts 4:10-12
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Whom ye crucified, Whom God raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stand here before you whole.

11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Either you are completely brainwashed, or have reading comprehension issues. NOBODY CLAIMS MARY SAVES.
Get off your anti-Mary bandwagon, it stinks.

The consequences of The Fall is just, it has nothing to do decrees. Blame the consequences on Adam and Eve. God made a "decree" back then, I'll go with that.

Then why do Catholics do "Hail Mary, ..." prayers?

What I said is in align with New Testament doctrine, we are to pray to The Father in Christ's Name, not to MARY nor to any dead saint.

"pray" does not mean worship. Nothing can be explained to you if you don't understand plain English.

New Testament doctrine doesn't say saints in heaven are dead. Bible cults say otherwise.

If I had a parrot, and taught the parrot to recite certain passages of Scripture, and the parrot, from time to time, for no obvious reason, would blurt out Scipture passages, would that mean much of anything to a passerby, other than being impressed that the parrot could seem to speak? Is it sort of like an incantation, whereby if you say the words "magic" happens?
I've been mocked before, it doesn't mean anything to me.

Much love!
