Strong concordance # 2469. Noun
Iskariiotes means - Judas Iscariot.

Psalm chapter 49:5

Wherefore should I fear in the days of evl, when iniquity of my heels compass me.

There was a betrayer in Jesus group of disciples. Of course Jesus knew. Any clue on this.

Psalm chapter 41 :9
Yes , mine familiar friend in whom I trusted, that ate my bread, hath lifted his heel against me.

Was judas Iscariot at the last supper, at passover.
Did Jesus know his hour was up ??

John chapter 13:27
As soon as judas took the bread, Satan entered into him, so Jesus told him, What you are about to do, do quickly.

Judas had money bag. Was treasurer. Did he really care about the poor. I believe judas was inclined to hope Jesus would establish his kingdom, and he would be treasurer.

I think judas was disillusioned.

I also believe he was foreordained to be the betrayer. Psalm chapter 41 clarifying that.

Question

Did Satan have any choice but to enter judas ??

Jesus had to fulfill Psalm chapter 22, to be crucified on cross.

Judas had some issues ....

We know that he used $$ from the bag to purchase a plot of land for himself.... a period of time prior to the betrayal ... That, in and of itself doesn’t make him evil ....but being a thief and dishonest does open the door for adversarial thoughts which can build and fester ....
One of which was that Jesus did not meet the expectations that Judas had for the redeemer of Israel... and it’s possible his actions with the betrayal was a way to force that issue .... It is obvious he did not expect the escalation of beating, torture and eventual crucifixion that took place ...

Judas was at the last supper ...but that was not the Passover meal ...that never took place as Jesus Himself was the Passover lamb.

It would seem clear to me that Judas Iscariot was used by Satan.
