The New Covenant with Christ happened, after His resurrection, a new and living way to God was opened by Christ's work on the cross.
The old covenant and sabbath laws were obsoleted and done away with.

Matthew 26:27-29
New King James Version
27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 For this is My blood of the [a]new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 29 But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”

The NC is established in Christ's blood, and in His resurrection from death.
So I've heard many times, and most of which I can agree. But as I said above, it is a mystery why, if the Sabbath had indeed been abolished as you say, why was there absolutely no protest from either Christian or traditional Jews. The setting aside of literal circumcision created a furore. But the Sabbath... Crickets.

Traditional jews were in furious opposition to Christianity. Well documented too.

1 Thess 2
13 For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe. 14 For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus. For you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, just as they did from the Judeans, 15 who killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they do not please God and are [d]contrary to all men, 16 forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they may be saved, so as always to fill up the measure of their sins; but wrath has come upon them to the uttermost.

Acts 22 also describes the furiousness of the Jews against Paul

As far as the Sabbath day, I refer to the forsaking of Moses and 'walking according to the customs of the Jews.
Acts 21
17 And when we had come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly. 18 On the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present. 19 When he had greeted them, he told in detail those things which God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry. 20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many myriads of Jews there are who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law; 21 but they have been informed about you that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children nor to walk according to the customs. 22 [d]What then? The assembly must certainly meet, for they will hear that you have come. 23 Therefore do what we tell you: We have four men who have taken a vow. 24 Take them and be purified with them, and pay their expenses so that they may shave their heads, and that all may know that those things of which they were informed concerning you are nothing, but that you yourself also walk orderly and keep the law. 25 But concerning the Gentiles who believe, we have written and decided [e]that they should observe no such thing, except that they should keep themselves from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from [f]sexual immorality.”

And also Acts 15

5 But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.”

The Jerusalem Council
6 Now the apostles and elders came together to consider this matter. 7 And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up and said to them: “Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. 8 So God, who knows the heart, [a]acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, 9 and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. 10 Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? 11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.”

Christ told the Jews as did Stephen in ACTS, that none of them kept the Law of Moses, that includes the sabbath.

This is that burden the apostles spoke of in Acts 15:10
Not keeping the Sabbath, the penalty was death by stoning, those people were not to be allowed to live, this is the LAW of Moses.

John 7:19
Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill Me?”

Then the apostles note this also for the JEWS and Moses it is the sabbath when Moses is preached, not when Christ is preached
Acts 15:21
For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”

The apostles though did meet with the Jews on the sabbath to preach to them Christ, but they were continually rejected.
All they wanted was to hear about Moses on the sabbath.

Acts 17
Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews. 2 Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures, 3 explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ.” 4 And some of them were persuaded; and a great multitude of the devout Greeks, and not a few of the leading women, joined Paul and Silas.

Assault on Jason’s House

5 But the Jews [a]who were not persuaded, [b]becoming envious, took some of the evil men from the marketplace, and gathering a mob, set all the city in an uproar and attacked the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. 6 But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too. 7 Jason has [c]harbored them, and these are all acting contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying there is another king—Jesus.” 8 And they troubled the crowd and the rulers of the city when they heard these things. 9 So when they had taken security from Jason and the rest, they let them go.

ACTS 13, Christ again rejected by the Jews on the sabbath

Apostles just met with the Jews on sabbath days to preach to them Christ.
Finally, they realized God was sending them to the Gentiles, not the Jews, they would no longer meet on a sabbath day with jews again.
Gentiles and jews being so antagonistic to each other, the gentiles would definitely not have chosen the sabbath day for a religious day of meeting. as that was of the Jews and the law of Moses and the customs according to the
Jews.

At Antioch in Pisidia

13 Now when Paul and his party set sail from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia; and John, departing from them, returned to Jerusalem. 14 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and sat down. 15 And after the reading of the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, “Men and brethren, if you have any word of [c]exhortation for the people, say on.”

16 Then Paul stood up, and motioning with his hand said, “Men of Israel, and you who fear God, listen: 17 The God of this people [d]Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with [e]an uplifted arm He brought them out of it. 18 Now for a time of about forty years He put up with their ways in the wilderness. 19 And when He had destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, He distributed their land to them by allotment.

20 “After that He gave them judges for about four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet. 21 And afterward they asked for a king; so God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years. 22 And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’ 23 From this man’s seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a[f] Savior—Jesus— 24 after John had first preached, before His coming, the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel. 25 And as John was finishing his course, he said, ‘Who do you think I am? I am not He. But behold, there comes One after me, the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to loose.’

26 “Men and brethren, sons of the [g]family of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you the [h]word of this salvation has been sent. 27 For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled them in condemning Him. 28 And though they found no cause for death in Him, they asked Pilate that He should be put to death. 29 Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb. 30 But God raised Him from the dead. 31 He was seen for many days by those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people. 32 And we declare to you glad tidings—that promise which was made to the fathers. 33 God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm:

‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.’
34 And that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to [i]corruption, He has spoken thus:

‘I will give you the sure [j]mercies of David.’
35 Therefore He also says in another Psalm:

‘You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.’
36 “For David, after he had served [k]his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and [l]saw corruption; 37 but He whom God raised up [m]saw no corruption. 38 Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; 39 and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. 40 Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you:

41 ‘Behold, you despisers,
Marvel and perish!
For I work a work in your days,
A work which you will by no means believe,
Though one were to declare it to you.’ ”

Blessing and Conflict at Antioch

42 [n]So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath. 43 Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God. 45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul. 46 Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, “It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. 47 For so the Lord has commanded us:

‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles,
That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”
48 Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.

49 And the word of the Lord was being spread throughout all the region. 50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, raised up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region. 51 But they shook off the dust from their feet against them, and came to Iconium. 52 And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

That pesky Book of Acts.
Today, many christians are baffled by it and do not perceive it's continuing value and instruction.

The shadows indeed pointed to Jesus as the Deliverer and Saviour from sin. The Sabbath however was instituted by Jesus Himself before sin, before there was any need of a Saviour.
But the issue in relation to this thread wasn't whether the Sabbath is valid or not. It's about religious and civil liberty in the light of global tyranny with the Vatican, hand in hand with American apostate Protestantism, (and not saying that all American Protestantism is in an apostate condition), enforcing it's own version of morality and religious practice.
History will repeat. 9/11 saw thousands of people returning to church across the world, particularly in America where they considered their Christian ethos and existence under direct attack. Imagine the future crisis wherein government's and the people are utterly perplexed as to what to do. When they believe it is the judgements of God coming down in the world. The answer? Return the nation to God of course, but how? Through politics? (Read viridian nationalism) Or personal repentance and holy living? You decide what the people will do, and what they will demand of their representatives. Then read again of the rise of the second beast of Revelation 13, the false prophet. BTW. Beasts are nations. Not individuals. That's why the vaccine mandates were a dry run for overreaching in personal relationships between man and God, trampling the constitution under foot.
Politics can never and will never return this nation or any nation back to GOD .
Cause they do not preach what is necessary . At best they might hit on some stuff
but believe me whether democrate or conservative , the politicians agree on one thing .
ONE THING .
And do take heed to this one thing .
Cause its been all over the liberal camp as well as the conservative camp .
I seen it in george bush , in republican leaders as well .
And this one thing they all have in common is A FAT LIE FROM THE DRAGON .
Now before i say THE LIE that causes damnation . CAUSE YEAH IT WILL . ITS A PILE OF ROTTED USELESS DUNG too .
Now before i say what this lie is they all embrace , let me say its not based on any kind of fundamental belief within any religoin .
What is gonna unify the world , THE LIE IS . the LOVE UNITY LIE FROM HELL IS . ITS already UNIFYING
all religoins to merge as one . YEAH brakelite i might sound like a record on skip mode
BUT ME THINKS ITS TIME FOLKS LEARN and LEARN FAST that they are all buying into a FALSE LOVE
which has the focus on COMMON GROUND , COMMUNITY WORKS , COMING together as one , Bridge builders .
OH ITS HERE patnah . IT has been . AND ER SINGEL deonmonation known to man is UNDER ITS INFLUENCE .
Not saying all believers are , BUT i am saying ITS ALL OVER ALL DENOMANTIONS WITHIN THE CHRISTAIN REALM
as well as all other false religoins TOO .
What is this lie . That we serve the same GOD and all we need is love . THIS GRINGO WILL DIE FIRST before i believe THAT LIE

Sin was already committed BEFORE God created the heavens and the earth = Ezekiel ch28 and Job

Ezekiel ch28
“You were the anointed cherub who covers;
I established you;
You were on the holy mountain of God;
You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.
You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,
Till iniquity was found in you.

Job ch38
Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?
Tell Me, if you have understanding.
Who determined its measurements?
Surely you know!
Or who stretched the line upon it?
To what were its foundations fastened?
Or who laid its cornerstone,
When the morning stars sang together,
And all the sons of God shouted for joy?

So I've heard many times, and most of which I can agree. But as I said above, it is a mystery why, if the Sabbath had indeed been abolished as you say, why was there absolutely no protest from either Christian or traditional Jews. The setting aside of literal circumcision created a furore. But the Sabbath... Crickets.

Book of Hebrews completely addresses the Required Eternal REST of God and seperates it from the Law, including Saturday.

@Brakelite, you are only left with the earthbound Saturday sabbath which brings you under the penalty of Death = if you subject Christ to it.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you.
You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death;
for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people. Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.
It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ”

You, myself and all who trust in JESUS the MESSIAH must never attempt to subject Christ to the requirements of the Law.

If we do, we attempt to establish our own righteousness by adding to the Finished Work of God whereby HE Rested on the 7th Day.

None of that suggests the Sabbath was given up by the Christians. History quite suggests otherwise. Churches observed the Sabbath for several centuries, particularly in the Celtic churches of Britain, the Ethiopian churches, and the churches of the east. Even on times doorstep, churches observed the Sabbath at heart until the 5th century and the council of Laodicea in which Sunday was exalted by the papacy and the sabbath minimised.
It is utter presumption to suggest that Paul and the apostles motives for going to the synagogue on the Sabbath was solely to evangelize. Nowhere in Acts is there a suggestion of meetings on any other day, except one...and that was an overtime meeting that began in Sabbath but ended Saturday night... The first day.

@Peterlag says: "The four gospels are not written to Christians because Christians had not yet started until after Christ rose from the dead."

My friend Peter, your statement originated from a cult and not from the Holy Spirit.

All cults have one thing in common = divert people away from the Truth by making it look like truth!

REST Assured for us only in MESSIAH and His Gospel = God's Eternal Foundation = read about Him in John chapters 1, 2, 3

It's as easy as 1,2,3

You back up your statement that I'm following a cult with nothing... not even a verse. I do not know why we have so many Christians who believe the entire Bible is written directly to them, the Church of God. There is nothing in the Bible to indicate such thinking, and I would like to add nothing could be further from the truth. It's true the Word of God was written for everyone for all time, and it's for our learning because it contains what everyone should know. That does not mean every part of it is addressed to everyone in this time, because the subject matter was written either to the Jews, to the Gentiles, or to the Church of God (1 Corinthians 10:32).

To rightly understand the Word of God, one must understand what part is written to the Church of God and what part is written for the learning of the Church. Every word from Genesis 1:1, to Revelation 22:21, is written for our learning. However, not all of the words from Genesis 1:1, to Revelation 22:21, are addressed to us. We must learn to distinguish not only the various people, but also the different time periods God has spoken to if we want to understand the written Word of God. The time God spoke to the children of Israel is not the same time period He has spoken to us. The time He spoke to the prophets in the time of the Old Testament is not the same time period He spoke to His Son Jesus Christ in the time of the gospels.

One is best to understand who in the Bible one is or was talking too or about.
At the end of the day it's all about Man and God and we can comprehend what is being written and why.

If in the Bible one is relating to the Jews in the OT from the OT or the NT one can understand that.

I have a mate who claims that X, Y, and Z in the Bible is for the Jews only ! and that it's not for me ? or anyone other ! even if i have Jewish bloodline ?
But what then of the ones who claim to be Jews ? would not I know better than such because i am born again ? so such things i understand ? but what of the Jew do they understand ? well clearly not ! for if they did, they would become Christians.
So Christians understand what is being said to the Jews in fact and not to mention we understand the issues regarding the Jews being in the Books, as it's not two different people or a race issue at all because as as any real Christian knows, is it's the two become as one in fact under Christianity ! not two different peoples at all.
Being Saved is the issue not some stupid nonsense about a so called race at all.
Anyone who thinks it's all about a race issue is a mental case and clearly not a Christian.

The four gospels are written to christains . There are three in heaven and the three are one .
It seems the things or some of the things you are against are actually the truth .
BUT you are right about the fact that catholicism sure has infiltrated huge the protestant realm .
ONLY my question is ARE YOU FOLLOW ITS LOVE ITS UNITY . THAT is the question .
has the focus become more on unity , finding common ground , on this lovey do stuff
AND NOT RATHER ON THE TRUE CHARITY OF GOD , the TRUE BIBLICAL DOCTRINE , the CORRECTION and all that comes with it .
YOU see you are already overlooking KEY THINGS in the bible .
THIS DOES THE RCC too . ITS like a walnut telling an peanut , HEY YOU A NUT . yeah well so is the wall nut my friend .
ITS TIME WE GOT and get ourselves BACK IN THE BIBLE and LETS NOT TRY AND OMIT ANY OF IT , SHALL WE .

What is written directly to the Jews, belongs to and is for the Jews. What is written directly to the Gentiles, belongs to and is for the Gentiles. What is written directly to the Church of God, belongs to and is for the Church of God. What does God mean when He tells us that the visions shown to Isaiah was concerning Judah and Jerusalem? It was not addressed to us or written concerning us, but it was addressed to and concerning Judah and Jerusalem. It would be dishonest for the Church of God to interpret to the Church of God what God said concerns Israel.

The present administration of God is in the time period of the New Testament known as Grace. It deals with the new covenant, and it belongs to the time that is called the administration of the mystery. It's a period in time that was not made known to any one prior to this administration because God kept it a secret since the world began. From this our Grace administration, we learn God’s secret purpose that He had placed in Himself, according to the administration of Grace, which was first revealed to the apostle Paul.

One is best to understand who in the Bible one is or was talking too or about.
At the end of the day it's all about Man and God and we can comprehend what is being written and why.

There are no more Jews. We are now within the time period of Christians. Here maybe this will help...

We must understand these administrations have different time periods in the Bible and each have their own beginning and their own ending—with the exception of the last one.

The first is called the Paradise administration. It was the time of innocence, the time before the fall that ends with Adam and Eve being expelled from the garden of the original paradise.

The second is the Patriarchal administration. It was the time after the fall from the Garden of Eden, but before the Law was given. This second administration ended with the coming of the Law to Moses.

The third is the Legal administration. It's suited only to Israel under the Law, and is sometimes called the Mosaic Law that terminated when Jesus Christ died.

The fourth is the Christ administration that overlapped and functioned within the Law administration. Both the Law and the Christ administration officially ended with the coming of Pentecost.

The fifth started on the day of Pentecost as recorded in the second chapter of the book of Acts. This is the present administration of Grace that is for the Church of God. It's the time period you and I now belong to because it's the Grace administration, without any distinction made between the Jew and the Gentile, which will end with the appearing of Jesus Christ.

The sixth begins with the appearing of Jesus Christ, and the gathering together of the saints. Believe it or not, this administration ends with Satan destroyed, and the great white throne judgment.

The seventh is the Glory or Paradise administration, which will not have an ending.

Administrations must be adapted to the time periods in which they are carried out. The administration with Adam before the fall was different from the one with his immediate family after the fall. The administration with Israel “under the law” was carried out on different principles from the present administration of Grace. This present administration is different from the one that will characterize the return of Christ. The administration of Judgment will be different from the one that will belong to the administration of Glory, when all things shall be gathered together in one under the headship of Christ.
