The enemy is watching, stalking, setting up camp, strategizing, planning, instigating, infiltrating, scheming, prowling like a lion seeking who he may devour and take u down. don't let him get a stronghold in your life!! keep watch, stay vigilant and keep praying!!

I refer to this as the Enemy's Toolbox of Tricks...after reading 'The Screwtape Letters'. If the enemy can't get you anymore
to steal and pillage,
then, lets try lusting, No? You've overcome that, too?
Let's try self-righteousness or pride with a little peppering of indignation from rude people. Overcome those, too?
Ah, ok, then...procrastination and extra helpings of that Triple Chocolate Cake...with just a tad of gossip as icing.
We must know the tricks of the enemy...recognizing the feeling of being "off'' is paramount.
The brain pathways (this is a fact) get used to happy connection to God...when we veer off it is like a wagon wheel
that goes into a rut and our wagon is tilted.
We must recognize that feeling, know what is causing it (it has the power of a shadow, really, pffft, it's nothing)
and get back on the Path of Practicing the Presence inside us.
Wash our hands of the whole matter...the enemy is like a fly buzzing...not really a lion anymore to us
who have practiced ignoring 'him'.
