Thank you for the post.

Their culture reminds us of pre-Abrahamic Mesopotamia. They also reenforce the Apostle Paul’s observation about some of the gentiles he encountered: “although they do not know the (Mosaic) law, they behave as if the law was written on their hearts.” (Paraphrase of Romans 2: 14,15).

For indigenous cultures like these, where God is unknown, can it be that God has been influencing them in carrying out His purposes?

But what are we to understand about the crushing power of the (atheistic) Han Chinese on all indigenous peoples of that land, even as missionaries introduced the Gospel?

Blessings.

I watched the whole thing and loved it! ( :praying: I pray these people find the gospel:praying:)
Glad you and others liked it. Really interesting. Such a long, dangerous hike to the village. I love rain but that made it slippery...and a narrow path, too.

When I was in North Thailand, I also visited the Yeo and Karin villages. The Karin village reached by a long boat (very long boat with a motor on the back)...they had a small wooden church.

Children flocked up to me trying to sell their woven belts. I saw one very young child with a cross on so I bought one from her, then another child.

When I visited the Hmong in 1988, we were told they only bathed and got a new set of clothes once a year.
