New video about Larry but apparently no sighting of Larry still.
I hope Larry is ok but he is a senior citizen. Usually cats go off by themselves when they are dying. Hopefully that isn't the case, but it's possible.
That is pleasant news. Honestly cats don't last long here in the Pacific Northwest. From bald eagles, to coyotes, mountain lions, bears and even raccoons hunt them. The cats usually prowl at night when owners let them out and it is a hostile environment. If they survive the vehicles from youth driving at ridiculous speed and other cell phone attention problems in the driving population then it is the predators.
I had watched a cat that the neighbors would let out every night and it lasted a few weeks, even was hunted by a raccoon chasing it. It escaped the bald eagles, but to my dismay it had been run over by a car on the not so busy back street.
They say cats have 9 lives, so I'm not sure what other 8 adventures that cat had enjoyed before he succumbed to the 9th final adventure.
I had many cats growing up and also as an adult. They are full of a wide range of personalities depending on the cat or even mood. Which is what I seem to enjoy in a pet. Unpredictability. Sometimes predictability can get old. Like that daily grind at work, clocking in and making the motions like an automaton robot programmed to perform by it's leaders.
Which is why I'm giving "Lary" two thumbs up for survival in potentially harsh conditions. What a marvelous creation of Gods!
Cheers.
