I've heard this concern before, and there is merit to it. I don't know if Trump is serious about making Canada a state or not, and even if he is, the chances of it actually happening seem pretty low. Hypothetically, if it were to happen, it wouldn't necessarily have to become a state. It could become an unincorporated territory like Puerto Rico and Guam. That would mean they couldn't vote in our election, although that would be a tough sell to the Canadians. The other option would be to incorporate only Western Canada. That is where the more conservative Canadians live, and it would also connect Alaska to the lower 48. Just thinking out loud here.

Too many people not able to vote, 39 million or so live in Canada.
I was reading some demands from Canadians to become states(s) of the US and what they want is never going to be agreeable to US citizens.
We most would not want them.
Greenland is another story, every citizen in Greenland would become a millionaire if what I read is correct. There is only 60,000 people there.
Old saying that the solution to one problem is often the beginning of another. The bible says only the blessing of the Lord addeth no sorrow to it. Trump is sounding "expansionist" to me and I just hope he isn't becoming infected with a touch of megalomania.....and he doesn't have to worry about re-election so that gives him more free reign to do whatever the heck he wants. Keep an eye on him folks. It may be that he will be successful in working against certain agendas but at what cost? Frying pan into the fire? We are between a rock and hard place with the Lord now in my opinion. I think there's only so much time in a day, and then there's that God is sovereignly ruling. That's a thing. The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. Maybe He has been wisely and mercifully saving some resources for the last leg of this age to give people something to live on, who knows?
