Oh defnitely more prayer in schools since it seems churches are unable to teach children. Now what kind of prayer? Catholic? Protestant? Jewish? Muslim? Hindu?

“It is HE who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men And knowledge to men of understanding." Daniel 2:21
No complaining allowed then if Trump loses the election because God inspires people to vote against him.

When I was in elementary school, our principal said a prayer and read from the Bible every morning over the PA system. Since this practice was outlawed by a renegade Supreme Court, things have gone downhill in this nation with a major increase in the seriousness of crimes.... We need to get back to our Christian roots as a nation. This would be a step in the right direction.

Jesus is the ruler over His kingdom, but right now His kingdom is within believers. There will come a day when He will rule over this earth as King of kings and Lord of lords. In the meantime, I believe that He uses earthly rulers....

Revelation 11:15--Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.”
Is it kingdom or kingdoms?

thats good for religious freedom, i agree.

However im still not sure we can say that God is using him. Im more of the opinion that God does not involve himself in the politics and rulerships of the nations. He has established his Son Christ Jesus as a ruler in the heavenly Kingdom and I think since the beginning of the End Times, he is focusing on supporting Jesus in his role.

I prefer to let religion up to churches, not the government. I think that would be getting back to the right roots.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but I am of the persuasion that if America will return to our Christian roots, God will bless this. I'm believing Him to send revival to this nation.... But in the meantime, I'm glad to have a POTIS who is intent on restoring freedoms for Christians that have been eroded.

I have not witnessed him ramming anything!!
Well then you are not reading all of Enoch posts , at every opportunity he gets he conveys something about the wrongs in government ect - but often it’s the same info.
And before you start reading between the lines of this post, it’s not wrong to convey what is going on behind the scenes, BUT when you hear the same thing over and over again, in the UK at least, it is called ‘ ramming it down your throat ‘
I have no idea why I have to suddenly justify myself to you for a conversation that I was having with Enoch.

The plural would be consistent with Rev 2:26 "to him I will give authority over the nations; and he shall rule them with a rod of iron"
Yes, and with Matthew.

Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

I have no idea why it's made singular in some translations in Revelation.

I think many of us have had similar things laid on our hearts, about their being a revival - and returning back ‘ to our roots ‘ but what is going on is affecting the whole world. I have felt very strongly that Gods people need to ‘ humble themselves ‘ - but as individuals- this is still going back to the roots of where our faith began when we received Christ - our first love.

The Secret Service "recommended" it.

The mystery is why he claimed he was inspecting it, only to be contradicted by AG Barr.

Barr contradicts Trump on the bunker 'inspection' story

Attorney General William Barr said Monday that the US Secret Service recommended moving President Donald Trump to the underground White House bunker during late May protests, contradicting the President’s earlier assertion that his visit to the bunker was for “inspection.”

Barr told Fox News that the June 1 action to expand the perimeter around the White House and Lafayette Square was a reaction “to three days of extremely violent demonstrations right across from the White House — a lot of injuries to police officers, arson.”

What did Trump say?

Last week, Trump sought to explain his time in the bunker during clashes outside the residence on May 29 as an “inspection,” rather than a retreat for his own safety, telling Fox News Radio’s Brian Kilmeade he was only in the safe room for a “tiny” amount of time.

“I went down during the day, and I was there for a tiny little short period of time, and it was much more for an inspection, there was no problem during the day,” Trump said.

“They said it would be a good time to go down and take a look because maybe sometime you’re going to need it,” Trump added. “I looked at it. It was during the day. It was not a problem … There was never a problem.”

Trump also told Kilmeade he’d been to the bunker before, what he said was “two and a half times,” also to get a sense of the space rather than to protect himself from harm.

But last week, multiple people familiar with the matter described a different scenario to CNN, saying Trump was rushed to the bunker for nearly an hour amid intense protests on the evening of May 29.

Why lie about that? Maybe Trump thought it made him look cowardly. So the next thing we see is him waving a Bible on the street in front of a church with boarded up windows. He was trying to look brave and pious. Everything is a show to him. He should have stuck with his television show.
Be careful what you read and to whom you listen.

Even if the Secret service DID advise the President to seek shelter in the bunker, this doesn't mean that the President actually stayed in the Bunker. It is the President's habit to rely on his own judgment and he doesn't always take the advice of the Secret service. In fact, his staff needed to be reminded that God is ultimately in control of the situation and by faith the President has decided to trust God and he recommends that his staff do the same.

Who was the primary audience of the President's message? His staff. The secondary audience was those with eyes to see.

I don't think CNN would lie about something that Barr himself could easily say wasn't true. News organizations sometimes slant things; and CNN's talk shows are mostly opinions and not news; but most news organizations do not lie outright. They would go out of business if they did that too many times: No one would believe them, they'd lose ratings and advertising.

I'd say to you be careful who you believe. Maybe Barr wasn't willing to lie in order to back up the President. Maybe he values truth more than Trump does. What I find curious about Trump supporters is that they suspect anyone and everyone else of lying but seem to think Trump is always right. It's very interesting.

Was it God's will that that church had a fire set in it? I wouldn't blame God for that. Nor would I blame God for the police using tear gas. So I don't think God was telling Trump what to do, really I don't.

That bunker was in the news again when Trump threatened to take action in Seattel if the mayor didn't do something or other, tweeting, "Take back your city NOW. If you don't do it, I will." Mayor fired back, "Make us all safe. Go back to your bunker." She sounds more courageous than Trump to me. And she doesn't have Secret Service protection.

Yes the church was damaged the night before. But the protest Trump violently cleared was peaceful and legitimate.
This is false. There may have been peaceful people present, but there were also agitators causing harm.

As for Trumps supposed respect for Christianity: The bishop of that very church feels disrespected by Trump.
Jesus was a practicing Jew and yet, this did not stop him from turning over the tables of the money changers, or referring to the scribes and Pharisees as "white washed tombs."

““I am the bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington and was not given even a courtesy call, that they would be clearing [the area] with tear gas so they could use one of our churches as a prop,” Budde said.

What is her real concern here? Is she concerned that the President of the United States disrespected a Bishop of the Episcopal church? Why does she think she deserves a courtesy call from the President? Is she concerned about the President's manners? Was she concerned at all that someone set her church on fire? Did she use her own church for political gain? That's what I saw.

Yes, God is love. And Jesus taught us that our love needs to be perfect as God's love is perfect. The Washington Post article resorted that some of her followers were handing out water bottles and granola bars to protesters "and expressing solidarity with their cause." Were they handing out water bottles and granola bars to the police officers also? That would be perfect love, right?

Wouldn't most pastors exhort the flock to stay home out of danger? Why would she allow her flock to remain in harm's way? Rather than giving out water to everyone, which is perfect love, they gave a drink of water to those with which they agreed in support of the protesters with whom they agreed. In other words, Bishop Budde herself was using the church to send the country a political message.

One last question, do you think Bishop Budde would have gotten a hearing from the Washington Post if her message was "Repent, and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ?" Is that in her sacred text?

Bingo! Looks like CNN could go out of business if they don't raise their paltry ratings.

Fox News beats CNN, MSNBC combined in ratings, tops all of cable
[published June 18, 2020]

Fox News Channel attracted more prime-time viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined last week, adding to its streak as the most-watched basic cable network.

Fox News averaged 2.3 million viewers during the hours of 8-11 p.m. ET from June 10-16, while MSNBC finished second with an average of 1.5 million. HGTV, A&E and USA joined them among the top five, while CNN averaged just 744,000 to finish 14th.

Discovery, TNT, Food Network, TLC, Investigation Discovery, TBS, Hallmark and the History Channel also finished with more prime-time viewers than the struggling CNN.

Nolte: Fox News More than Triples CNN’s Collapsing Viewership
[Published February 20, 2020]

Even with the Democrat primary in high gear, the U.S.S. CNN’s ratings are still beyond pathetic.

The far-left CNN, a hate network that spreads conspiracy theories and promotes violence against President Trump and his supporters, could not even average a million viewers during the same week New Hampshire came out to vote.

Worse still, CNN’s chief nemesis, Fox News, annihilated the fake news network in the ratings by averaging more than three times — three times! — as many primetime viewers as CNNLOL.

Here’s the primetime breakdown of average viewers during the week of February 10:

Fox: 3.2 million

MSNBC: 1.677 million

CNNLOL: 969,000

As you can see, during the first presidential primary in four years (Iowa is a caucus), CNNLOL belly-flopped into ninth place, losing to HGTV, TLC, the History Channel, and only barely beating the Hallmark Channel.

How is that even possible?

Wait, it gets worse…

Here’s the total day viewership average for that same week:

Fox: 1.743 million

MSNBC: 920,000

CNNLOL: 630,000

Seriously, how is it even possible for a cable channel that’s currently available in some 85 million homes to attract only 630,000 average viewers throughout the day — especially during the week of the New Hampshire primary?

Here’s a better question…

How is it possible that CNN chief Jeff Zucker, who has not only failed to dig CNN’s ratings out of the dirt, but who has forever destroyed the credibility of CNN as a respected brand, still has a job?

Numbers this low do not just point to a failure to attract viewers, they point to a flat-out rejection of CNNLOL by the American people.

They would and they have. Please, just keep your eyes open. I think you will notice things about CNN that perhaps you didn't see before.

What I find curious about Trump supporters is that they suspect anyone and everyone else of lying but seem to think Trump is always right. It's very interesting.
We give the President the benefit of the doubt because his statements turn out to be true. For instance, the President said that the Obama White House was spying on his campaign. All the News Media, including the NYT were very critical of his claim. As it turns out, the President was correct.

Was it God's will that that church had a fire set in it? I wouldn't blame God for that. Nor would I blame God for the police using tear gas. So I don't think God was telling Trump what to do, really I don't.
I don't think the President was speaking for God and he never claimed that he was.

If she was courageous, she would have ordered her police to resist the Antifa Mob, calling the Governor of her state for assistance. Why was it so easy for this group to take over part of her city? It was too easy. Much too easy.
