I am sure many American Christians voted for Trump because they sincerely believe he is the only answer to the gross violations of moral principle that so pervades American society.
However, there is a much deeper and darker agenda at play here. That is the political attempt to establish God's kingdom on earth in response to Matthew 6:10. This isn't a new concept. Ever heard of the 7 mountain vision? From a concept formed in the 1970s, a couple of evangelicals determined to take over and control what they believed to be 7 pillars of society. Media, entertainment, finance, business, religion, law, and marriage. I think. I'm operating from memory, I may be wrong in a couple of those, but I think you get the picture. Some of you may be familiar with this.

Another name for this is dominionism. Or kingdom now. Today, it pervades the evangelical movement. Even Christian musicians write about and promote it, for example the Newsboys. And Trump, whether knowingly or ignorantly, is the flag bearer for the whole shebang. It is a union of church and state with the intent to create a theocratic form of government replacing the present constitutional Republic. So. What's wrong with that you may ask? I would ask a question in return. Which particular branch of Christianity do you believe should be legislated for? Because right now, from what I see going on around the world and in America, I see a prophetic picture forming that will bring nothing but harm to millions. I see Revelation 13 being enacted in front of our eyes.

But this protestant version stopped protesting some time ago. In fact, those same evangelical pastors that have been praying for Trump and supporting his now successful campaign, also not long ago stood shoulder to shoulder in promoting a return to Rome, and advocating the Pope to be the only viable religious leader capable of bringing the religious world into unity. This union of church and state... this image of the papal power... does not bode well for lovers of religious liberty. What will happen to those minorities who refuse to submit to this union? What happened to them in the 14th century? Remember, this modern version of the dark ages tyranny is an image. A mirror image. No I don't think you hate anyone at all brother. Yes, I agree that false doctrine and beliefs need to be corrected and challenged, and the truth needs to be preached. When the church starts talking and believing like the world and agreeing with the world, we have to know there is something hugely wrong with that picture. Keeping in mind that truth is for whosoever will........whosoever will, will hear and others won't, and as truth is sown in a field it sometimes needs time to take root and grow, and that will take place in hearts that are or become ready and prepared like good soil receiving seed. It's the Lord who gives the increase, we can't, so I believe there is an aspect of being at rest in His sovereignty in these things.

Well, you're right about "Not trusting in God" but it wasn't because of the "heathen around them," it was because they didn't want to be different anymore. They wanted to be like everybody else.

Yes, that too. And it's not good when God's people look no different than the world and want to trust in the same things the world does. The Israelites weren't trusting in their invisible King, they wanted to put their trust in someone visible and tangible and strong in a worldly way. In the western world, it seems the church is seeing a power shift to the godless and unbelieving (heathen) and are trying to battle it with worldly weapons and a worldly leader instead of trusting and heeding the Lord, our invisible King, Defender and Protector. That is like doubling down on the kind of reasons that are causing the power shift to start with (God's judgment), so is only going to bring more judgment.

I believe Donald Trump has some sensible policies, yes...........but have we noticed how his good friend and supporter Elon Musk is big on digital tech, neuralink for example, and I've heard that DT is in favour of digital ID........Israel is also a world leader in such things and DT is a friend of Israel.......I've heard that Netanyahu is also in favour of digital ID.....this all potentially doesn't bode well in my opinion......so my practical advice is never never give your power and trust to any government leader, but always keep them on a leash (if you can). Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. And it isn't true that the ends always justifies the means. Please don't let's forget the lessons of history learned the hard way. the christains religious liberty . NO it wont . actually it only protects those who are inclusive , who go with the flow
and acceptance of certain sins and beliefs . namely the belief that interfaith presents . in other words

I'm not overly concerned about the US ditching its long tradition of religious liberty. The Supreme Court won't aid such a cause. Trump's administration won't either. It would have to be fueled by a grass-roots cultural shift in the country at large, and I just don't see that happening. Not enough Americans identifying as Christian press their religious convictions to such an extreme.

Seen that dear sister . This is also all about a digital system . that very system
which the progressive liberal elites have long been making ready .
And they know how to sell such ideas .
China . they will also use china . they will say things like IF WE DONT do this we will fall behind CHINA .

This is exactly what i also have been warning about . THIS whole ecumincal phase to gather all to be as one
WILL SOON enter into the GREATEST crusades which will come against ANY and all who did not conform .
The true church is about to be heavily persecuted .
THIS has occured before and throughout the ages , BUT NOW at the end hour

I'm not overly concerned about the US ditching its long tradition of religious liberty. The Supreme Court won't aid such a cause. Trump's administration won't either. It would have to be fueled by a grass-roots cultural shift in the country at large, and I just don't see that happening. Not enough Americans identifying as Christian press their religious convictions to such an extreme.
