I didn't agree with everything said of course, he got his numbers wrong about oil, but over all, a fairly accurate assessment of the situation.

What was your take?

Just as the American folk are being duped, (referring to the video) so too is the world being duped with the general narrative of the Gospel. It is handed a misrepresentation as if it were the real deal. I guess that's why Jesus' warnings of 'don't be deceived' is pertinent.

This was a continuation of the arrangements made by the US and Vietnamese Government. After the fall .....the line is long because of the two governments still fighting. Far from your definition of "chain migration"

Had nothing to do with "Chain migration" Out of this mix of 26 new citizens, not one dime came from the government other than the agreement to bring them in. Christian Churches took the reigns. Eight Engineers came from the children. The US graduates Engineers each year but the education system here sucks. One million engineers short per year.

There are many deceptions. Actually, this world is pretty much all deception. And its going to be those who cling to their certainties, religious and otherwise, that will be the most deceived. I trust Christ, His words, and that's about it.

I am however in complete agreement with the general premise. As you were saying, there are many deceptions, no doubt from the flavour of chewing gum to nuclear power, from the age of the Earth to understanding the variations of dysfunction in a human being. I don't think we have the capacity to be onto every deception that exists. That said, the question I think is critical is which deception(s) is it that endangers?
Let me illustrate, unaware that you were going 10mph over the speed limit on an open highway is hardly critical whereas not knowing cyanide was in your drink would be an end game.
So back to the deception(s) that matter ie, are critical. What do you think?

It's called TDS.....Trump Derangement Syndrome.

It's like this:
If Trump is doing it...
It must be wrong.

The left just can't accept what it got wrong....
The government has to be on the side of the people that work and live and
have families (or not) and are civil and create progress for future generations.
NOT
On the side of criminals that are killing those same people.

There were about 5,000 murders, and other crime, perpetrated on our population just last year....
Where's our protection?

And the previous admin KNEW who these criminals were and where they live and they were allowed to roam free?!!

Your specific story is just one of Millions, and it doesn't represent family chain immigration IMHO

Under Obama Plant a family member in a US college on a visa who becomes a citizen and the entire family in my explanation (36 members) moved to the front of the line regarding immigration

Just like having 100 people in a gas station line with 1 family member being at the front pumping gas, as 10 family members at the back of the line move infront of the 90 waiting to pump their gas

The passing of time inevitably changes culture. We can see that from the shifts that have occurred in the human race around the World from the time of Adam and Eve. I'm sure they never had rock'n roll or fentanyl concerns or enjoyments; however you see it.

It is too easy to bundle our culture and in particular, church culture with it's varied practices into the equivalent of 'the word of God' purely because those things feel familiar and have never been seriously challenged in our thinking. They are defended because we assume them to be sacrosanct.

So the question of deception from another angle, what is it in particular that Jesus and the disciples promoted, highlighted and laboured to bring awareness of to the people....and that which attracted the opposition they encountered?
