I do hope the tariffs will never be implemented, especially on Canada. We get so much oil from Canada it would drive up prices a dollar per gallon.

I think Trump is defusing WW3 with Russia.
He also knows Europe wont go it alone as in provoke a future WW3 if the US goes more isolationist.

BACK to US nation building. If all that money had spent here, I read all homeless could have had a new house given to them for free and tons left over, not that it would have happened.

Of course the money got spent for war production, so in a way it was spent here, and then the stuff given away. So really a loss. Military hardware is for blowing up and burning things done and killing people and lands.

It amazes me how the Government can spend billions in Ukraine, when a billion could solve the homeless. Plus, mental health hospitals were closed in the 80's. Open those mental hospitals back up and cure more homeless. I think it is time condemn property in Los Angeles to house low income people. Some of the homeless in LA actually have jobs and cannot afford rent.

How do you suppose politicians get rich?
They buy stocks in economic sectors they know the US government will spend billion on, as they vote for it.
