Satan is limited to only what God will allow him to do. Jesus is God and the wind, and the seas obeyed. In Job, Satan admitted that God had put a hedge around Job for protection. God does the same for us.

Agreed. :) Sometimes, He calms the storms, and sometimes He takes us through the storms. Every storm has a purpose. If the storm didn't need rebuking, Jesus wouldn't have done it.

Now, look at this....

[19]And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

Jesus said He only does what He sees the Father do and what He says. So I'd bet that the Father told Jesus, go over to the other side in the boat. Now Jesus was no idiot, if the Father wanted Jesus over there then He would certainly see that they ship made it. So He went down and went to sleep! They had to wake Jesus up, and didnt He say something about oh ye of little faith?

God gave Satan permission to cause loss for Job, to see if Job would lose faith in God. Thank you for prayers and I pray for your family as well.

Job thought/ believed God caused his calamities but we know that it wasn't God. We know because of how the book of Job starts. We have information Job didn't have.

The same principle of inside information gives us understanding today. Jesus unveiled the true nature of God. He unveiled information the OT writers didn't understand.....and now we are told by the voice on the mountain, yes, we are told by the Father who to listen to.

What is the most dangerous windstorms known to mankind .
Tis the winds of vanity . For those winds will lead them to destruction of the soul .
There is only one reason i brought this up today .
Its not to accuse anyone
Its not to condemn anyone .
But simply to remind us all . The death of the body is not the worst event
lest one knows not the LORD .
Because if one rejects CHRIST and follows men who sow vanity
and offer up a false hope and love , OH THERE BE SOMETHING FAR WORSE
than death , THE SECOND death .
Rather
than to accuse the brethern who brings a simple truth lets rather learn the simple truth .
And that is this
IF One believes IN JESUS CHRIST , not another jesus , not muhammed and some false religoin , BUT IN THE JESUS CHRIST
they will never die . THAT IS A FACT . Let all be encouraged .

For those in the trenches there is a lot of mud being cast at them
by the false love cisterns of men that have surely muddied the waters .
Accusations will come against the sheep , in fact its gonna get only worse
as words against us will become laws and actions against us . But no fear of man or what he can do .
LET GOD HIS CHRIST be GLORIFIED and MAGNIFIED in all that we do and say .
The sheep of HIS pasture have a real good HOME awaiting us at the end of our faith .
NOW to the trenches with the full armour of GOD , cause these be the last days and time
is only getting shorter .

That happened to us a couple days ago with the previous round of severe weather. There were tornadoes all around and we were supposed to get lots of rain ....we got a few sprinkles, and then a good heavy rain for about 45 minutes. It was exactly what I asked God for ....a good watering.

This time, the line of storms was up and down through the entire state. We have had LOTS of rain and it is still raining. We are supposed to get rain for the next 4 days.

So yesterday, we were in a "5 out of 5" zone where we had a 5 out of 5 chance of seeing a tornado within 25 miles of us. So I asked God to keep the tornadoes away within a 25 mile radius. And that is what happened. Interestingly, I was able to see the formation of a tornado in the far distance but it never came to fruition. Then there were tornadoes all around north and east of us ..but none were closer than 25 to 30 miles. And then, the weatherman said a tornado warned storm was in the town 25(ish) miles south of us, headed our direction ...but it fizzled out.

I'm so amazed at His care and that He has kept us.

But He told me in 2004, and several times since then that this state would be severely hit ...even with a "hurricane", tornadoes, floods, and an earthquake ...and not only this state but others will be effected as well.

Lots of winds with lots of dust to dry water our yards .
Welcome to the desert my friend .
If you ever come to west texas in the summer
and you bring a dog
make sure it has plenty of shade .
And if you hear a shrill yipe , well it will soon learn not to step out from under its shade while the sun is a blazing . LOL .
