This is that day between the crucifixion and the resurrection of Christ; that day of which Christ said, "Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected" (Luke 13:32). This is that day.

In the day that Christ gave the above three day word regarding the overall plan of salvation, it was "today", and this--this is the "tomorrow" He spoke of. Today is tomorrow.

Combine that with the Apostle Paul, saying, "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2), and "today" simply means that whenever one enters into God's rest, into Christ and He in them--that day is the day of salvation. In other words, if today is today, it does not mean "the third day" is, or need be, yet to come...except for those who do not enter in--who do not hear the proverbial knocking at the door of their heart by the Son sent by God, and open and let Him in. In which case "today" can, and is, "the third day"--the commencement of eternal life in God's rest--that day that His work is "finished", which He declared at the beginning, that seventh day of creation.

Hallelujah!
