Yes. "in giving them food and raiment". There is the power of God. It is a promise. He will give a son whatever a son ask for in His name. Raiment and food for the orphans, for the widow, and for a stranger. What they need is the Spiritual, not more of the physical. Gather, don't scatter!

I get it: this life is not about us serving us, but us serving God. My husband says I am one of the weakest people he has ever met, and it is true. Our counselor calls it a fear based personality. I fear God and have for most of my life. There are things in His word; gripping truths about Him that if I brought them here and shared, others would definitely not like the truth of what His word says. But there is not one verse or truth about God's power that offends because, while I fear God, I also know He is good and has a plan and His plan surpasses our own understanding. With fear there must also be trust. If all we talk about is fear then when do we get to share the marvelous work God has done?

When God by Joshua lead the people into the Promise Land, they came to a place where there are two Hill's, one mount Gerizim, and Mount Ebal. SOOOOOO, did I declare that this was from Scripture, My statement was to bring about the Fact that all people should Govern themselves by Scripture!
