Those seagulls can be quite aggressive! I used to see them at Santa Monica Pier. We'd throw French fries up in the air for them.lol - that happens over here where I live, but it’s usually people who start feeding the seagulls - then they all come !!
You don’t need to throw the chips ( French fries ) up to them, they swoop down and take them - especially on our seafront and pier. They are like bomber seagulls !!lolThose seagulls can be quite aggressive! I used to see them at Santa Monica Pier. We'd throw French fries up in the air for them.
Yes some the UK gulls are nasty, more when they are on the sea front. We had loads where I use to live , just inland, and they were just hungry for anything. They would attack bin bags if left out- they seldom attacked people - so it must be the chips that turns them into attack mode. Many don’t like the noise they make, but i don’t mind as it reminds me I live by the sea, and I am grateful for that.Them Coons look cute ! somthing like a Cat ? but they can not live in the house with you, for they are more like a monkey that will just trash the place.
We do not have Coons hear in Australia but we do have sea gulls, but they are not like the ones in the UK i am informed. the Gulls are bigger and more nasty in the UK they say. but here the Gulls will not have a go at you, but they love chips ! always their is one mental Gull in the pack that is ranting like a total idiot at the other Gulls, for it wants the chips, but spends too much time fending off the others that it looses out on the chips.
Just smother the chips with Tobasco and only feed the nasty one
Oh we have Possoms, they have hands on their feet as well, best not feed them, i know they are cute but for the mess they make !
Fruit Bats are cute but you can not touch them.
And they look such beautiful birds- much prettier than seagulls - I guess looks can be deceiving( got to be a spiritual analogy in there somewhere !! lol )damage cockatoos houses - Google Search
Australian White Cockatoos…..
We have them here where I live and they are the most destructive birds imaginable……they operate in flocks…noisy and relentless. You don’t feed them…..it’s an invitation to punish you, if you don’t.
These leave seagulls looking like harmless sparrows….![]()
Hello @Reggie Belafonte! We had insect bats that would swoop repeatedly down under the streets lights in the middle of the night and catch moths that were attracted to the light. Those moths are also attracted to the fires we would have. Once we had a bat in our house, caused quite a ruckus.Them Coons look cute ! somthing like a Cat ? but they can not live in the house with you, for they are more like a monkey that will just trash the place.
