Apparently NZ girls regularly sunbathe topless.

...errr she be going native...I guess it's the air over here.

Entertaining someone from "Down Under" is cheap and easy

All you need is a loaf of bread , a toaster , and a jar of Vegemite
Well spotted! :) :) :)

'Down under' mate, is AUSTRALIA, not New Zealand. Unless of course you know people personally, unless it's conjecture.

Besides I hate VM, prefer Promite. In NZ it's understandable that they're comfortable with no tops on as this would have been there practice pass time given the natives, until the English and others civilized the Island(s). B)

...and of course, Australia wore clothes on account of them being a penal colony for England. An extension of her Majesties overcrowded prison system... ;)

Funny, it was originally a state of Australia, from early settlement. How things change. :) Good to see the little island has it's freedom. B)

whatever makes you happy JB.. but NZ was never a state of Australia. It did however have the same governor...who not only was involved with the penal colony in Australia but also the colonies of NZ... :) :) :)

Please note JB, that Australia belonged to England. The prison colonists there were from English stock. There were no Australian citizens accept the aboriginals. Also England did not win NZ through war but via a treaty which they signed with the crown in 1840. That is when European settlements began... :)

There are only two unique Treaties that have been upheld by England. The Treaty of Waitangi is of them.

All true Ang. Still it was recognized as a state of Australia in early law. :) I've enjoyed this jousting.

The then Governor claimed NZ as a state of NSW but it was never formally ratified. In 1835 the combined Tribal affiliation of NZ came together and declared NZ a sovereign governance. The treaty document includes this sovereignty clause. NZ came to the party during the beginnings of a confederacy discussion with the Australian states but pulled out of it due to distance and decided to run their own country... :) :) :)

Blessings and thanks...

Sounds like Australia is the southern hemisphere's Georgia (the state here in the US, not the country).

Georgia (the state) was started as a buffer state for the original colonies of the US by England. Unfortunately, they ended up with a larger landmass than my beloved South Carolina, and then they usurped the title of the "peach state" even though South Carolina outproduces them when it comes to growing peaches!

My gosh... I hear it takes some people 5 minutes to get mad, and 5 years to get over it. Angelina's as bad with New Zealand as Sandy the Squirrel is with Texas... So JB... You have 4 years and 364 days until you are forgiven!

So the Australians are all Crocodile Dundee and all the Kiwis are Hobbits?

Sounds 'bout right ;)
