I really like to listen to people who do their own thinking. (Even when I don't agree with everything they say.)
I haven't listened to to Ramsey for years, but he hits the nail right on the head here:
I've never been able to point out a single election/president that's made a bit of difference in the way I or anyone else's life has changed for better or worse.
People rarely vote with their consciences—especially the ones who want to tell others how they should vote—they vote with their gut, their membership cards, or their egos.

I saw that; that was pretty funny. As if the SS weren't outfitted with hooks and harnesses, etc., for such work.
These bureaucrats would be better off if they just refused to talk to the press.

We know there are despicable Trump haters even here. However, when someone is charged with securing public safety there is no place for indifference to a possible assassination threat.
People should go to jail. Not just lose their jobs.
If the bullet had been an inch closer to Trump's head, we'd see condolence threads here.
His haters would still hate him by claiming they hope he got right with God first.
While those in the public sector of law enforcement whose inaction let it happen would be satisfied.
Trump was still shot and by their inaction. And as members of law enforcement their dereliction of duty should cost them. Just as it could have cost Trump his life.

I saw the video overnight from where he got those still images, about the direction of the bullet.
I heard the second sniper team had to move their position in order to shoot the shooter.
The other sniper team's vision was blocked by trees.
Btw, a military guy said that a sniper should have been placed on that really tall water tower. He would have then been able to see the shooter on the roof.
Does the video is post 229 show that a sniper was already aiming at the shooter but didn't fire until after the shooter fired?
I think the biggest question for me would be "why did the Secret Service NOT have a sniper on the highest structure overlooking the area?

My view is that the elected president and their party are only the frosting on the cake. We change the frosting every four years when we should be doing something about the cake. But what?

I can say without a doubt that in the last three years. there has been more change in this country that I have ever seen
1. Inflation is through the roof
2. The cost of housing is astronomical. With interest rates right now. a 30 year mortgage on a 350 thousand dollar house (the cost of most small houses now days, at least where I am) is 3,500 dollars a month. Who in God's name can afford this much?
3. everyone says gas prices are up. I do not know. I think they are prety much the same, But in order to keep the prices low. Biden used up all our strategic reserves that were supposed to be used in emergency only. so now we are vulnerable
4. The national debt is astronomical. Yet we keep giving billions of dollars away to foreign countries (many of them our enemies) Defying the constitution and forgiving student debt, Insisting that our children belongs to the state, and not to the parents, while mutilating our kids who are too young to really know what they want, by cutting their sex organs off. Giving them drugs to stop puberty which they only give to pedophiles, and in some cases, Taking parents to court who want to fight this nonsense
5. Our borders are wide open. our enemies are flowing in like a herd of cows. our kids are being murdered by these people. yet nothing happens to the guilty. They give tons of money to these illegals. while our middle and lower class, due to bidenomics. are struggling to put food on their table.
6. They prety much have turned into a nazi state, by the rhetoric they use against their political opponent. They call him a traitor, a rapist, a nazi, everything they are. while calling for people to do "whatever it takes" to stop this man. Which someone did last weekend and now they are sad that he was a bad shot and missed. All of this in America.
7. No one wants to work. my Wife is an HR person for Meijer's and she hires more people than I can imagine, people who do not want to work, who are only being hired so they can continue to get their government check (the work the required hours then quite) who quite because they have to walk from one side of the store to the other (its too hard) and of course, with my Wife being HR, its her fault that the store is not staffed. (I have to watch her struggle every day, she has just one year before she can retire. and UI am not sure she can make it)
I can go on and on and on.
To say this country has not changed since Biden took office and is not better or worse you have to be blind..

I agree with nearly all you've said here, but it didn't start with Joe Biden. Or even Donald Trump, for that matter.
Based on the best non-partisan information I can find, there's is no obvious difference between the fiscal responsibility behavior of these two men.
Trump did, I believe, promise to balance the budget, which he failed to do, even pre-COVID, but Biden understandably made no such promises, given the circumstances under which he assumed executive office, so there's no real basis upon which to compare them with regard to this.
Republican alarmists thought the sky was falling when both Clinton and Obama were president, too. To my recollection, that didn't happen.
What has gotten worse over time, regardless of who was in the White House, are the effects of sinful, human nature. This has been prophesied, and no presidential election is going to stem the tide of woe brought on by unregenerate human hearts.
The truth is, the larger effects of a president's administration are rarely discernable by the common people until after they have passed into history and, while the nature of things is more instant and faster paced as time goes by, this rule still applies, for the most part.
I know that political enthusiasm is an overwhelming temptation for many people, but I'm determined to avoid it. I have a Heaven to win and a hell to shun and, more importantly, lots of friends and family are depending on me to set a reasonable example.
Christ is neither a Republican nor a Democrat. And He is our example in all things (except for receiving worship and having authority to both forgive and absolve sin, of course).

Stop excusing a man for doing everything he can to tear this country down granted trump can not fix everything joe Broke in 4 years but we can’t keep going this way

I'm not excusing anyone for anything. You seem determined to find disagreement where I find none. Your "he that is not with us is against us" posture will not have any effect on me. I'm well used to it by now. I don't even regard my own apolitical position a fraction as much as you seem to exhibit a love for political partisanship. I will continue to call attention to unChristian extremism. If you feel the shoe does not fit, by all means, feel free to leave it unworn. And may God bless you richly.

Ss should have had that line of sight secured. The shooter should never have been able to access that roof.

I heard on the megyn Kelly show that someone in the know said the person who was supposed to man that roof never showed up.. Now whether on purpose or not is to be determined if this is the case. Also it does not excuse the people there. they should have known if it was secure or not, or the guy did not show up. someone failed to do their job.

And those snipers whose view was obstructed by trees...how crazy is that? As just a regular citizen, I would have used commonsense to get a different position.
And that really tall water tower that had a view of everywhere!!! Maybe they didn't want to climb that?
Snipers don't lay up where there are obstructions. In fact they would have installed security in that clump of trees.
This whole security detail was a cluster.
There's supposedly a rule that 40% of the SS must be female?
No problem.
Except the female director dropped the ball. The female SS guarding Trump were too short to provide full body cover of him.
One couldn't holster her gun after clearing the holster.
Whoever set his detail Saturday really doesn't like the man.
The women in his detail should be reassigned. The director fired,because she refuses to resign. The local LEO's investigated and arrested,or fired.
No one in the SS ran Reconn. Obviously.
People need to answer for this.
