14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. - John 17:14-19.
Have you ever suffered those kind of things as Paul - we have. When you read Paul, you can see yourself in those perils. It will be your own countrymen that war against you. The brethren that war against you. The Powers in the world. The prince's of the world. Have you suffered that, you are in good company. Your travels in this world take you many places. Hard places at times, most cannot endure what you have endured. All for a cause, that cause not being your own. What we go through in the world, we go through not because of you, your own doing - it is something that has been purposed in God. His messsge his way his own glory. We purposely go through and endure. Great is the Lord!
On the way to the fathers house! As the prodigal son would shake himself in the swallow of the swine and say "I must get to my father's house." In my father's house even the servants have more than necessary. I need to get to my father's house. For in my father's house, is my father. My father my father!
Paul continued on! until his departure. He knew he would die at the hands of Nero. Asking to be beheaded in respect (for lack of a better word) of his Lord and savior Jesus Christ. He was ready! His time was at hand to reach the father's house. That time will come for all of those that look for him, searching out what it is they were apprehended for. The Father's house. Filling his house with the trusted and the enduring with what was his eternal plan and purpose for mankind.
