It's not Satan
"he removeth kings, and setteth up kings"
Daniel 2:21
20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:
21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

Daniel already told us who that was in Daniel 8:21-23
21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

Antiochus Epiphanes was not Satan nor the man of sin.
Satan is the man of sin.
The False Prophet is a man, but not the man of sin.
Satan is the man of sin.
Satan was working in Paul's day, and has been working ever since, as the man of sin.

No,Satan is not a man.
Donald Trump is not Satan.
He might seem like it to a lot of people but he's not really Satan himself.
I agree with this understand. Also, the beasts and the Little Horn of Daniel 7 are not human as well, but like Satan, they are also fallen heavenly hosts.

The man of sin is not a man either. It is a title given to Satan who appears as a man.
Do you not understand that angels appear as human men when they come to earth? Satan was described as the king of Tyre in the OT. In the NT, Satan is the man of sin. That is not a man, but Satan working with humans since Paul said that man of sin was already at work.
In Revelation, John said that Satan's "throne" was in Pergamos.
"And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is:"
This city involved both the Greek and Roman empires at the transfer of the third and fourth kingdoms in Daniel 2. Why is it hard to see how Satan was working behind the scenes all the time including the establishment of the ten toes kingdom, the 5th kingdom/historical head? The Dragon in Revelation 12 is the same as the sea beast in Revelation 13, and the scarlet colored beast in Revelation 17, from different perspectives.
The five heads are the 5 kingdoms from Daniel 2. We are currently in the 6th head time period, and that head has a mortal wound that will be healed after the Second Coming, in the 6th Seal, by Satan in opposition to Jesus and His angels being on the earth. After the 6th Seal, Satan will not have to hide in the shadows deceiving people. He will be out and about deceiving people.
"And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed."
Satan has all the same power and authority because he is part of the dragon, sea beast, and scarlet colored beast.
Satan's wants people to join the 6th kingdom and pledge their allegiance to Satan like all leaders who want people to vote for them in modern day elections. Those running for president don't usually present just themselves as great, they want people to support their type of government and nation, and then take all the credit and glory once in office. Satan is not the ruler at this point, just promoting his form of government over that of Jesus Christ.
Have you noticed the repeat of history that Satan is doing the same thing Nebuchadnezzar did in setting up an image and then telling every one to worship that image, removing all the credit from God who gave him the dream in the first place. Now Satan has humans setting up an image of their humanity and they were told by Satan to worship that humanity instead of listening to Jesus and the 144k.
That is what Jesus said in Matthew 13:37-38
"He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world."
Jesus is on the earth actively sowing the Gospel, while Satan is actively sowing self worship, which will lead to worshipping Satan and receiving the mark, instead of being the wheat and receiving eternal life. Satan is the 7th head. Satan is the beast that was, is not, and will be, because he is of the 7 heads.
"And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition."
"the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them."
"And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."
"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."
All these verses are referring to Satan. Satan has been at work for thousands of years turning men's hearts against God.

Yes,the man of sin is a man.He is called the king of the north in Daniel 11 and he is just as much a man as the former men who ruled his kingdom before him.Personally I believe he is a moron .I've never liked the man .He is to full of himself.
Notice how Jesus refers to a whole "wicked generation" as “a man” and “ that man” (like Paul said) here in Matthew 12:43-45 “When the unclean spirit is gone out of "a man", he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of “that man”is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this "wicked generation.”
This is “the mystery of iniquity,”and of the revealing of that man of sin by the falling away from the faith.
Now notice the wording Jesus used showing the “last state of that man” referring to a whole wicked generation compared to Peters words concerning this same "falling away" in
2 Peter 2:20-22“For if after they have escaped the pollution of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.”
Many of the saints being overcome is also shown here in Revelation 13:7 “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and "to overcome them": and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”
So this spirit of deception and lies would also overcome many of the saints as is also confirmed here in Daniel 7:21 “I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;”
That horn is the tail of the red Dragon, which speaks of the spirit of a lie working in all the false prophets of the world. This spirit of a lie was foretold to practice and prosper in the world, and also cast the truth and also some of the host of heaven to the ground.
So was Paul talking about a single man in 2 Thess. or a single "evil spirit" and also 7 other "seducing spirits"
working in a whole “wicked generation”like Jesus said?
Well if you read the whole chapter in 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 you will see this truth is shown…“And then shall "that Wicked" be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after "the working of Satan" with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness "in them" that perish; because "they" received not the love of the truth, that "they" might be saved. And for this cause God shall send "them" strong delusion, that "they" should believe a lie: 12 That "they all" might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
Clearly Paul was talking about more than one single individual man in the above verses using words like “in them, them, they, and they all.

Paul was "talking about" Satan.
Satan has constantly stirred up every generation of wicked humans.
Even Ham the son of Noah was the wicked one of his generation of 6 people, affected by Satan.
Satan is not a man, but does work in many men= they, them, they all etc.

Satan is a man. All angels are male actually and satan is a fallen archangel.
I disagree because there are terrestrial bodies and celestial bodies. Also the word Adam (man) includes both male and female=mankind
Genesis 5:2
Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
