A meek and mild man would be ignored by the political environment that exists in the U.S. today. It takes someone such as Trump to be heard over the counter-noise we have in the media. Ronald Reagan was a great president, and even he was a victim of an attempted assassination - simply because he saw through all the shenanigans perpetrated by those who sought power more than success of the citizens of our country.

You say London is a mess and like many large cities I suppose it is. But I am a very long way from London and in all my life have only been there twice for short visits.
I live in the Manchester area and our mayor was recently re-elected for the forth time and is a good bloke. And I like our new PM too. And our new King is lovely.
Should a person pray for the United States ? Would Jesus pray for it or teach his disciples to pray for the United States ? No. Why ? Because the United States, along with Britain, is the 7th and last world power of secular and Bible history, as noted at Revelation 17:9, 10, that is in opposition to God and is to be destroyed.
It is the leading member of the political "wild beast" at Revelation 13, or the entire political system, that was created by God's archenemy Satan from the restless, agitated "sea" of mankind, see Isa 17:12; 57:20, 21, who wants to form their OWN government apart from God, though seriously divided.
Britain/America is the "wild beast ascending out of the earth (or more stable elements of mankind, so that it does not collapse, at Dan 2:33, being noted as having a framework of "iron mixed clay", or "a strong backbone mixed with the unstable clay of people" (see all the protests by "the people"), Dan 2:43, making for a government that "sways", but will not "fall down")
The United States is the key member of the 7th and last world power of Bible history (with Britain more on the side), taking center stage on the world scene, both politically and economically. And what does Daniel 2:44, 45 state of what is to happen to the ENTIRE political system, with the United States at "the top" ?
This: "In the days of those kings (of "the feet and toes of iron mixed with clay", Dan 2:33, the Anglo/American world power, that came into existence near the end of World War I) the God of heaven will set up a kingdom (in 1914, see Dan 7:13, 14; Rev 6:1-8) that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom (or God's heavenly Kingdom) will not be passed on to any other people."
"It will CRUSH and put an END to all these kingdoms (the ENTIRE political system with its "king", the United States), and it alone will stand forever, just as you saw that out of the mountain (God's sovereignty) a stone (God's Kingdom) was cut not by hands (or NOT through divisive politics),"
"and that it crushed the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold. The Grand God (whose name is Jehovah, see Ex 6:3, KJV) has made known to the king what will happen in the future. The dream is TRUE, and its interpretation is trustworthy.”

He kept them both at bay. That's what was needed. He met with many leaders, both ally and foe. President Trump is not a warmonger, it's hard for me to think of any of the other presidents in the last several decades who did not believe in war.

Kind of remembered that you're not a Londoner.
We have friends that live in a very nice residential area in the North and they dislike going "into town " lately.
And, yes, all large cities are suffering....at least, most.

Show him where his statement was wrong .
cause on surface value , THIS IS WHAT A LOT of folks do .
You gonna have to show him where his statement is wrong .
Rather than accusing one of being a false accuser
show them where their statement was wrong . IN his case , YOu cant most folks do this .
The particular statement he wrote , MOST folks now do .
To show one their error , we have to look at the statement .
if said statment is true , we acknowledge that .
But to blanket statment one as being a false accuser of the brethren
Many have made that assumption about myself my friend . they cannot prove me wrong
by the doctrine i bring , wont even acknowledge the doctrine . but by golly
cause such a statement is made its automatically assumed there is no love in my heart
We better watch out mark . The churches collapsed when they stopped correcting .
These wolves have long led a lot of churches right to shambles .
So , i suppose my regular reminder is needed . WE BESS GET IN BIBLES FOR OURSELVES .
Cause a lot of folks today would accuse JESUS of being the accuser of the brethren
and the apostels as being the accuser of the brethren , cause they dont just sit and hug and overlook stuff .
We better all watch out .

cause they dont say GO and live in sin and be saved .
What they DO is call certain sins , NO LONGER as sin
and imply one can live in that , well because its not sin .
THESE clowns dont fool me .
Example . Look at the rainbow club .
YOU dont hear one of them saying HEY GO LIVE IN SIN and be saved
BUT THEY SURE DO LIVE IN SIN and BELIEVE THEY ARE SAVED and that JESUS SUPPORTS what they do .

of LEADERS , and not only leaders but when i say leaders i mean IN CHRUCHES

but most cannot see this at all .

i cant seem to find one that dont support sins and worse now even more support unbelief .
As they have us praying with muslims , loving up even the religious tolerance act
WHICH the pope himself leads in .
OH yeah its far worse than folks think .
BUT by golly if thier man supports it then it must be okay .
The abraham peace accords IS OF SATAN . as is the religious tolerance act .
THERE i said it . The all inclusive false love and unity is of satan .
the judge not correct not is of satan . IF you like i will bring a long list
of that which is of satan . but many are gonna weep as they realize they support it .

Rather odd the ones i read it with we dont come away with different ideas .
ITS the ones who stay trapped under mens doctrines that do so .
THE SOLUTION .
IS real simple .
GO back into the bible for you , DO NOT pick up ANYONES commenatary
DO not read it through an OSAS or etc mindset
do not read it through a pre trib , mid , post
JUST READ THE BIBLE . It may take some time BUT IT WILL COME together .
WE need to DROP these denominational teachings .
I aint saying they all false , BUT DROP THEM and start over .
YOU READ FOR YOU . watch what happens .
YOU just watch what happens . IF we really desire truth
We will GET THE TRUTH .
Too many are trying to put what their pastor says
into the bible as they read it . NO , READ IT FOR YOU and see what happens .
AND DO it often . read the letters as a whole . ENJOY IT . EMRACE IT , LOVE IT . you watch what happens.
THINGS BECOME quite clear in time .

I have discussed this with @EternallyGrateful many times but he refuses to believe such people exist and think they are still Christian.
Souls are in danger due to this concept that you're addressing.

we come away with different ideas because folks sat under men who taught differing ideals .
TIME to BIBLE up for ourselves .
I have to agree.
We bring preconceived notions to scripture.
We could read such a simple verse and then someone will misinterpret that verse. Very frustrating. And every denomination is at fault in some way.
And don't talk about doing good works!
Jesus already did everything...and it might even be sinful because we're not trusting God!

I bet if a group of us had daily bible reads together . didnt try and teach this or that which men taught us
BUT read it together for ourselves
in time , we would agree . at first their might be differences
AGAIN DUE TO what men taught us . but you watch .
IF we just said HEY lets start over and read this book for ouserlves and even do it together with others
MAN things CLEAR UP REAL fast .
But when we do this , You gonna see that in time
MOST FOLKS are gonna target YOU as being the accuser and hater , WHEN REALLY WE LOVED THEM
and DESIRED GOOD FOR THEM , and that was why WE WARNED and CORRECTED . you watch .
I give everyone on this site
this challenge .
GET INTO the bible for you , spend time in it , not just a daily saying etc stuff , READ IT .
IN fact the more one does so the more they gonna find they cannot put it down . ITS words
will ring into their hearts . But mark my words , MOST WONT
and yet the same MOST gonna accuse me as they continue to sit under
their own denominatioal mindset .

Correct . THAT is the problem . Folks bring a pre concieved ideas TO THE SCRIPTURE to make it fit what they BELEIVE
RATHER than enjoying the bible and reading it for ourselves and letting THE TRUTH FORM in our minds
THEY try and form the scrips to fit what THEY WANT IT TO SAY or etc .

The problem is they are not trusting in GOD but rather what men say about GOD about CHRIST .
another jesus , another image of GOD is getting touted and many love this .
THEY have no idea that through this other version that feeds their own lusts
ITS TURNED THEM AGAINST THE GOD who inspired the BIBLE and against THE CHRIST and His words IN that bible .
And most folks do not care to learn for themselves or to even put the time in
cause by golly their first love is cares and pleasures in this life
its just far easier to go heed a man at a church every sunday and then spend
the rest of the time doing what they really love , CARES and pleasures in life .
NO TIME spent for GOD hardly at all . TIME spent on this life , this world , these cares
these pleasures .
IF i had a wife and i spent about a couple of hours a week with her
came to when when i NEEDED Something but most of the other times
I DIDNT HEED much of what she said , DO YA REALLY THINK she gonna fall for it
just cause i make mention of MY LOVE FOR HER and SHE IS MY HEARTS DESIRE .
HECK NO . WELL GUESS what GOD DONT EITHER .

My friend all we can do is speak the truth . as far as the heart of the person

GOD showed me something a long long time ago .
WHEN I was so sad , so heavey so down
because i could not get the people to see the truth i was trying to tell them .
Wanna know what i was told .
YOU are not GOD , but a man and cannot give the increase . YOU SPEAK the TRUTH and if they hear it not t
THAT IS ON THEM . DO NOT WEAR youself out thinking you can change them .
WE CANT . ONLY GOD can open the eyes of a person .
WHAT WE DO is SPEAK TRUTH and follow THE BIBLICAL PATTERN for EVERYTHING
that INCLUDES SEPERATION , CORRECTION , SHARP REBUKES and etc .
FOLLOW THE PATTERN OF CHRIST and later the apostels gave , CAUSE ITS THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS .
I cant change one persons mind , BUT WHAT I CAN DO
by the power and grace o GOD is SPEAK THE TRUTH and follow the biblical pattern FOR ALL THINGS
and omit NOT A WORD OF IT .
