So you have to believe and faith comes by hearing the word of God, Then you have to be born again and receive Christ, have either of those things happened to you?

As a matter of fact... when the Born again believer tries to "DO Christianity", they can't..... as Christianity is built on God, and not on self effort.

So, as Paul teaches... "I can, (we can) do ALL things..... through Christ"., and that is spiritual power within us, that is our power to live the holy life, and receive from God, all that God has for us.

You can’t believe in Jesus without the Spirit of truth entering into your heart, that is why we must be Born Again of imperishable seed...that is the Living witness to Gods truth.....he testifies with our spirit that we are Gods children.

Indeed, once we have become Born Again of imperishable seed.

The seed who is Gods witness to Gods truth, Christ dwells in our hearts/ spirit, via His Living Holy Spirit.

You can’t know anything without being Born Again of imperishable seed....unless you have been Born Again of imperishable seed.

He is our Living witness who indwells our heart/spirit...we need him to understand scripture as we are spiritual children.

Only the Living Holy Spirit can make our spirit Born Again.

The written word can’t do that I’m afraid.
