I mean, I can't claim I have always put Him first...I have had idols (hobbies/habits) that came before Him at times....I am ashamed to confess that.
Why be so ashamed of putting your immediate needs and desires first? The relationship we have with God now is really nothing more than a long distance one at best. Too few seem hesitant or afraid to admit this, but its the bottom line truth. I don't care how "spirit filled" or "holy" people claim to be. It would be a LOT easier to put God first every waking second of your life if we actually had a real, face to face relationship with him. Sadly, this ain't really happening until heaven and earth passes away along with the sin that came with it, and its exactly that that I'm looking forward to.
Ahhh thank you for that bit of wisdom and knowledge....condemnation causes guilt and shame..truth sets us free!

Satan wouldn't be able to manipulate vast swaths of people across the world all at once without the media, the TV and internet in particular.

People need to remember the saying in psalm 46:10: "Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth."
Thank you, shame a few others on here don’t get why I keep going on about it not being a hoax !!!!!
Could it be that the ordinary worker in these roles can be trusted, why on earth would we lie about it all .....we have nothing to gain from ‘ making it up ‘

@Rita Saying it's a hoax won't stop the virus playing havoc with ppl's respiratory systems, especially if these already have problems.
People who like to think they are in 'leadership' who keep on saying it's a hoax which thereby has the effect of persuading ill and infirm people not to take precautions should consider whether they wish to have blood on their hands eventually: we trust it won't come to that.
@Rita I agree that the media in many ways is one big lie machine; but the way this virus kills people is absolutely real.
Yes the media is corrupt, but that doesn’t mean that the virus is a hoax - I can’t work out if you are accusing me of something, or just making a statement...........just because I believe the virus is real does it mean I am believing everything in the press, it just means that in my part of the world, within the realm of work, and knowledge of other areas of care, the virus is very real. What is it with Americans only having two extremes, either one or the other..........NOT everything you read and hear is fake news ........you have to weigh it up from other sources , like reality !!!!
The LYING media is trying to destroy America. They're bought and paid for just like politicians!

@Rita The thing is that both Foxnews and CNN - and the discourses in Congress - so often seem to promote the idea that worldwide issues and problems revolve around the DC Beltway and Main Street.
