In the March 15, 1972 issue of The Watchtower magazine, there is an article about the Lord's Memorial. On the bottom of page 167, it states the following:

“Therefore, anyone deliberately staying away from this celebration, on March 29, does well to consider this question: If willful disregard of the ancient Passover was punishable by death, would not a more severe punishment be meted out to one who spurns the Lord’s Evening Meal, trampling on the provision represented by the bread and wine?”

My question then is, what is worse than death?

Never being alive again…..death from Adam is reversible…death from God, if one is assigned to “Gehenna”, is a never ending death. There is no hell…..just no life. It is all God ever offered to his human family…life or death.…we were to choose wisely. (Deut 30:19-20)

So where in the Law or Old Testament does it say if you willfully miss the Passover you'll be put to death?

What was the original “Passover” that was mandated for Israel to observe? What were they commanded to do in order to be preserved alive on the night that the “angel of death” visited every household?
Any who did not put the blood of the Passover lamb on their doorpost would die, the same death as the Egyptians who failed to do so, such as Pharaoh…..who lost his firstborn son and heir to the throne.

The death penalty applied to some of God’s laws, but especially when disrespect was shown for something sacred, like Israel’s deliverance from Egypt and what preceded it.. (Numbers 15:30-31)

You're making statements, and quoting scripture, but as usual, none of what you say answers the question. The article stated: "If willful disregard of the ancient Passover was punishable by death ..." where is this specifically stated in scripture??? I need a thus sayest the Lord, not a thus sayest the Governing Body, s how me scripture, not interpretations.

I have given you an answer according to Scripture….not your answer? Not my problem…
“You” need an answer?….not my problem.

Got you own answer? From Russell? Again, not my problem…he is my brother too…but we have moved on from his early understanding…”the light on the path” continued to “grow brighter as the day dawned”….it never stagnated because the revelation of truth is progressive, and always has been.

Why are you so determined to tear down JW’s? It seems a bit obsessional….pathetic actually, when you have to tear us down to build yourself up…..what have we ever done to you? Are you not just fulfilling Scripture?
Who has ever heard of you? Who has never heard of Jehovah’s Witnesses? Are you hated and persecuted more than we are? How can someone hate you, if they do not know that you exist?
Perhaps they mistake you for us?…guilt by association maybe? :bigCeeze
