I get a sense of contradiction here. How will people know exactly what they are doing if they are deceived? Deceived people don't know they are deceived. They think they know the truth. How do you know deception is not reigning supreme right now, not just in the world, but in you? How do you know that if you cannot identify Antichrist you won't be deceived by him, especially if it didn't matter in your opinion whether you study who he is and what his mark is, because you're outa here before it happens?

Sometimes I can only sit in awe when I read one of your post that has such a profound truth that there is no response that can challenge it. What an awesome point!

They won't if the are not cognizant of the the end times scenario. There will be many who do it gladly out of willingness with no illusions or lack of understanding. Many have been and are looking forward to finally ridding themselves of this God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And finally an end to this "christian" menace.

And there will be those who take the mark out of convenience. They see it as just a progression of economics and politics toward a one world government of a socialistic character that will provide them equality and meet all their needs. Selfish interests that takes into account nothing else.

But I am convinced that those who have witnessed the removal of the righteous, and it comes to their remembrance those things they heard of the end times, that they will not unknowingly take the mark. It will be a conscious choice on which side of the fence they will put themselves.

In Revelation, one never sees any hint of regret or "I was fooled" mentality. None who take this mark have any inclination to repent of what they have done. They are all in. Many times the text states that they never turn from their sorceries, drug use, and other sins.

It is pure speculation on my part, but when I see....

..... I see a genetic alteration thing going on in conjunction with this mark. Already, there are RFID chips that can indeed alter an animal's genetics. It is not a big step to take this to the human level. And to arbitrarily limit what beings that are hell bent on fighting Yahweh and corrupting everything He has created is myopic. I believe that we have no ability to comprehend the technology that these beings can unleash on the world when they are no longer restrained.

And many folks will quickly line up to get this mark. The promise of genetic changes that can extend life, make folks immune to various diseases, enable them to have super human strength, etc will cause many to line up to get his mark. Hybrid humans that can finally achieve all that humanity has been longing for.

.... I see the mark as being some sort of genetic alteration that causes all those who take it to no longer qualify for salvation, and even it that were not the case, they have no desire to turn from the evil they have embraced. So the final result is the same.

When the rapture occurs it will be chaos. Not on the extent something as I believe there are far fewer than many Christians believe.

But even then there will be car accidents involving empty cars. Probably some plane crashes and assorted of things.

Homes will be left empty.

There will be those who are well aware of the Bible's teaching to become tribulation saints.

With that in mind what can we do to leave things for them to find that act as witnesses?
If God gives me a choice, I'm not leaving. The tribulation is a time when people will need God's mercy on display like no other time on Earth. (Besides, I don't believe there is any such thing as a pretribulation rapture anyway. The Bible really doesn't support it if you read the "supporting" scriptures carefully.)

Just pointing out some thoughts for consideration.
