A guy here had a doctor's appointment. This man is a contractor and very expensive to hire.
He's in the waiting room ten minutes early for his appointment. After waiting an hour and asking reception twice about the tardiness of his doctor,he leaves.
Three days later his doctor calls him. Outraged at the high cost invoice he'd received for 1 hour of the mans precious time.
The man asked the doctor,would I be charged were I to have missed the appointment?
Well yes,his doctor said.
Same here. My time is worth money too. I had an appointed time to meet with you,and I held up my end.
You however did not make that appointment. Therefore,you are charged for my time same as you'd charge me for yours.
After that the man entered through the doctors private entrance and was seen immediately for every appointment. That special treatment for however many others is likely why other patients have to wait well past their appointed time.
Were it me, I'd have entered through the usual entrance into the waiting room. Let the other patients see what's happening there.
