Many claim that the church today is commanded to fulfill the "Great Commission". The fact is, there is more than one commission. In each case, those who were to obey all the commissions were the twelve apostles of Israel.

The "Great Commission" is actually comprised of six phases.

PHASE ONE:

Matthew 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

During the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus he commanded the twelve to go only to the lost sheep of Israel. The twelve were to preach the gospel of the kingdom and say the kingdom of heaven is at hand (Matthew 4:23 Mark 1:14-15). The kingdom of heaven was the prophetic kingdom on earth, in which, the believing remnant of Israel would reign with Christ as kings and priests on earth (Exodus 19:5-6 Isaiah 9:7 Revelation 5:10).

PHASE TWO:

[Luk 24:33 KJV] 33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,

Luke 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

After his resurrection, Christ commanded them to preach, beginning at Jerusalem.

PHASE THREE:

[Act 1:2, 4 KJV] 2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: ... 4 And, being assembled together with [them], commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, [saith he], ye have heard of me.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

The commission was being expanded beyond Jerusalem.

PHASE FOUR:

[Jhn 20:19 KJV] 19 Then the same day at evening, being the first [day] of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace [be] unto you.

John 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

20:23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

Jesus was sending the twelve. They were to receive the Holy Ghost and were given authority to remit or retain sins.

PHASE FIVE:

[Mar 16:14 KJV] 14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

This phase was interrupted by the dispensation of grace, but will resume in the tribulation. In the tribulation the provisions of verse 18 will be protective.

PHASE SIX:

[Mat 28:16-18 KJV] 16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

This final phase will be fulfilled during the thousand year reign of Christ on earth, the kingdom on earth (Revelation 20:4-5). The twelve will rule on twelve thrones over Israel (Matthew 19:28 Luke 22:29-30). Israel will be a blessing and a light to the Gentiles and will teach them (Isaiah 60:3).

The church today, the body of Christ, finds our "Great Commission" only in the epistle of Paul which says:

2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Paul spoke as if the spreading of the gospel and discipleship of the nations had be fulfilled within his lifetime. Most Christians don't understand or preach the same gospel that the apostles preached, nor do they disciple believers in the original apostolic doctrine.

The 'Great Commission' was never meant for the global world, but for the Biblical oikoumene, where the Israelites and Jews had been scattered by Assyria and Babylon (Romans 9:25-26).

[Col 1:5-6 NASB95] 5 because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel 6 which has come to you, just as in all the world also it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as [it has been doing] in you also since the day you heard [of it] and understood the grace of God in truth;

[Col 1:23 NASB95] 23 if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

[Rom 10:18 NASB95] 18 But I say, surely they have never heard, have they? Indeed they have; "THEIR VOICE HAS GONE OUT INTO ALL THE EARTH, AND THEIR WORDS TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD."

[Rom 16:26 NASB95] 26 but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, [leading] to obedience of faith;

[2Ti 4:17 NASB95] 17 But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion's mouth.

The Body of Christ was completed and taken into the clouds in 70 AD. The heretics, lukewarm believers, and apostates were left behind to start the traditions that still deceive people today. We missed the memo.

John wrote the Book of Revelation in the 60s AD as a warning from the Lord of his imminent return. The idea that John was still on earth during the 90s AD was a rumor spread by the church fathers. It helped them gain support for their Apostolic Succession.

Jesus will return again to regather Israel according to the covenant at Moab (Deut 30); until then we need to obey his commandments and resist the false doctrines of the various factions claiming to be the Church.

You err.

Jesus commanded the eleven (not the twelve) to go make disciples in all ethnos (nations) and to teach those disciples in all nations (ethnos) to observe teh very same things that Jesus commanded the eleven. The command to go to all nations is one of the things jesus commanded the eleven and thus passed on to the peoples of all lands.

Yeah. According to Paul, that's been accomplished. The nations were the nations of the oikoumene, not the entire globe.

Please explain this
It's the same idea as the rapture, only it happened at the end of the period of great tribulation that lasted from 66-70 AD. This is what Jesus said would happen.

[Mat 24:29-31 NASB95] 29 "But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 "And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory. 31 "And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

Everything Jesus taught the apostles.

It's already happened for the Body of Christ. Israel's regathering is still to come.

[Rev 1:1-3 NASB95] 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated [it] by His angel to His bond-servant John, 2 who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, [even] to all that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.

But you cited these passages to support this applying to the Body
Also, Revelation was not written for or about the Body of Christ.....Israel is in view

That's because Jesus was applying these Old Testament prophecies in a spiritual way to the Body of Christ. But they also still have to be fulfilled within their OT context too.

Jesus was addressing his disciples, remember? Everything in Matt 24 was for the Body.

Also, Revelation was not written for or about the Body of Christ.....Israel is in view
That's true for most of Revelation 7-19, but most of ch1-6 and ch12 is about the Body.

Old Testament prophecy is duplicated in a spiritual way for the Body. That's why Peter quoted Joel 2 on Pentacost, when the context of Joel 2 tells a very different story.

We must look at the entire Bible similarly. As an example, who were the various NT books or letters written to? Us today? No! They were written specifically to those to whom they were addressed, i.e.; the Romans, the Corinthians, the Galatians, the Ephesians, the Hebrews, etc., and addressing their issues. People will read the book of Acts as though it has primary meaning to us, or likewise the Corinthian letters, etc., but they aren't meant PRIMARYLY for us, although there is secondary application for us today. People today, then get confused and develop skewed understanding or misunderstanding of the scriptures intent, some of which over the years, have resulted in the formation of erroneous religious beliefs and movements, the the formation of entire false "Christian" religions, i.e., denominations. Much more could be said here, but the basic principle is what's important. We must read and view the bible very carefully, understanding what has specific meaning and application to us and what had specific meaning and application to those of that day.

[Mat 24:29-31 NASB20] 29 "But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 "And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory. 31 "And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET BLAST, and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

[Rev 1:1 NASB20] 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated [it] by His angel to His bond-servant John,

Read Rev 1-3 and 22. It's filled with time indicators.

Is there a verse for this?
Simerly if not where is this found?
See the Parable of the Ten Virgins.
