The Disturbing Reality Of Some Human Beings And Their Mental State

Hello to the Admins, I hope this is not something which can not be shared on this section of the website. On and in my time on earth, my mainstay as always been with working with people whom have mental issues, and that can be from multi-personality disorders, to intellectual disabilities. For over the past 4 years I have worked on and off with people in these states. I found this documentary interesting, though most people may find it shocking. I have become sort of nullified with the nature as I've watched dozens of content involving police, and people having anger outburst, to teens murdering, to people even eating other people, only on youtube do I watch this content and no where else, as I find the investigative nature conclusive to human nature, though intellectual disabilities can be founded in some people, along with crazy thoughts within people as well. I find it amazing that Yahavah continues to love these people, and gives them life every day, though there are people out there who would execute them personally if they had it their own way. I'm thankful for the police department, and the governmental attributes that we live under in America, and there are laws in place, and there are investigations going on, and that their are people out there seeking for Justice to be served. If this is something not relevant to the "Morality and Ethics" forum (as I haven't taken time to read the forum rules in a long while) I may request this post be deleted all together. (I went through the forum rules and I don't see no reason why I wouldn't be able to post this.)

Horror and sport are the mainstay news items of this world. It attracts people like flies to dead meat.
The Good News is uninteresting to most....even on forums like this (otherwise it would be explored, brought front and centre in conversations and light would not be exchanged for confusion and darkness).
Does the prevailing horror mean we post 'dead meat'?

I cant make a judgement on the video as it is not available to me in the U.K.
I am wondering, however, if it is appropriate - given the info above the video. Does it actually show the abuse of the man being force fed.
Also what is the moral or ethical points you want to raise - is it about where they stand, can they be saved ect or what good comes out of these awful situations.
I do watch crime investigations, I find it fascinating how the police work, but also it gives the sad reality of what families go through behind the scenes of a news story, and theses things do sadly go on in our world. New laws are often passed as a result as families fight for justice , despite the pain they feel.
So maybe a discussion point, but just Not sure about the actual video, it’s usually a discretion decision by the mods

It's good to learn about human nature, at least in my opinion. That is why we have the bible. The first murder scene seen is Cain killing Abel. We learn the nature of man fairly quickly, with the contents of the bible. QT. Thank you for posing your question.

It's been said that people loved the darkness more than the light. There was a time in my life, where I loved darkness more than the light. I still do like darkness, there is something about it that is just obscure. Especially on the darkness of nights, and the clearest of nights, you can see all the beautiful stars that Yahavah has created. I see what you are saying though, the more we involve ourselves with our nature, the more worse we tend to get. At one point in my life, (I was never Mormon or anything) I hated God so much, I believed that I was a god, and that at the end of life I would create my own reality. Thankful that Yahavah, corrected me on these mistakes, because I use to be a dark person, with a lot of hatred and anger within in me.

Light and darkness is just simply part of life. There is no avoiding it. To be honest with oneself is at least to be authentic in my opinion. There are many people out there whom have all types of different circumstances which lands them into the state they become. Sometimes it's mental illness, sometime's its a problem with the brain itself. Sometimes it's a compentant person who knows exactly what they are doing and they just didn't care and was greedy. These are all elements of life itself. God knows all the hearts, and he still calls for all people to come to him, whether they do or not, it totally on their decision. I do believe any type of crime when it is heard of should be reported!

Mental illness is yet another consequence of living in a fallen world. It is very distressing to family / friends etc and can be also to the sufferer.
Most forms of mental illnesses can be treated and managed and is as much an example of a lack of faith as being overweight is an example of a lack of faith.

Mentally people canas easily give up their medication as people with heart disease or type1 diabetes.
All equally life threatening if they stop.

Please educate yourselves about mental illness and find out just how many people in your church suffer from or have suffered fro depression, anxiety, panic attacks, epilepsy and none of them are knife welding manics, any more than you are, but they do need care and love, which they often do not get from Christians.

Generalised anxiety disorder (GAD): 6 in 100 people
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD): 4 in 100 people
Depression: 3 in 100 people

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD): 1 in 100 people
Panic disorder: fewer than 1 in 100 people.

I think those figures are higher, at least in my observation re the system's focus on get get get. The mindset reveals mental illness; an abiding dissatisfaction even though there is sufficient.
