"Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God;" - 1 Thess. 4:1
"So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God." - Rom. 8:8
"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." - 2 Tim. 2:15
"Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him."-2 Cor. 5:9
"that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;" - Col. 1:10
"Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord."- Col. 3:20
"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." - Heb. 11:6
"And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight." - 1 Jhn 3:22
It's painfully obvious Romanists don't understand what the OT or NT teaches at all, and it's easy to see why: they don't want a religion that requires them to live God's way(Rom. 8:7), so they make up ridiculous doctrines to justify their liberal lifestyles. No matter how anyone uses the Bible to camouflage these doctrines as Christian, it's still easy to recognize the hostility toward God and His authority. Christ lived to please the Father, and true Christians strive to follow His example.
