Surely you jest. My Bible doesn't say the "papacy" is Antichrist. You're still slinging words around. First you say your ideas are backed up by the Bible. Then your next statement is your ideas are from the Protestant reformers. Which is it?

As for the "great Protestant Reformers" being willing to die? Oh dear, they were also willing to kill. Perhaps their Bibles at the time didn't contain this, or maybe they read it and forgot about it:

John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

How many millions of people died in the religious wars between Catholics and Protestants after Protestants gave up trying to resolve things peacefully and rebelled? Both Catholics and Protestants forgot that God's kingdom is not established by the sword through violence. Both forgot the Golden Rule. If you want religious freedom, you should be willing to grant it to others.

In Eden, that was so. The Sabbath was definitely mean for Adam's benefit. He did not benefit from it. He was driven out and did not enter the eternal rest.

When the Sabbath was again given to Israel, they too had the opportunity to enter into the eternal rest and almost none did.

Psalm 95:11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

Is that how you observe the Sabbath? At home and then go to meetings on the first day of the week?

My guess is that many even in Rome and Alexandria may have observed the Sabbath for a long time before the idea of the first day of the week was pushed when antisemitic people didn't like the connection and wanted to suppress the Sabbath entirely. Some Christians probably kept it (especially those who started as Jews) while others didn't. It makes sense to me then that Christians would meet after the Sabbath, Jews and Gentiles together.

Keep whatever day your conscience tells you to. Do not defile your conscience. As long as you do it to honor God, any day is fine. If you can honor God all seven days, that's better yet; but for those who cannot honor Him continually, it's good to set aside a day just for that.

I find any teaching that people must observe the Sabbath or the first day of the week against Scripture. I see you as on the same footing as those who observer Sunday. I doubt either is ready to enter the eternal rest. If they were, they wouldn't be agitated by such things. If they were ready, they could "be still" and know God.

If you are following the teachings of Ellen White, you would do well to look into history to see what she was like before slinging insults at other denominations. She followed William Miller who taught many impossible things; and when his prediction about the second coming fell apart, his movement collapsed, but White kept many of his ideas and those were used to found the Seventh Day Adventist church. White also wrote some things that were shockingly in conflict with the Bible.

Deception is surely a major factor contributing to the confusion and apostasy of Babylon. Are not the abominations in the cup which she holds her deceptions and false doctrines? But of what purpose are these deceptions if they do not relate directly to how we relate to our Creator? Are they not designed to draw us away from a right relationship with God? Yes, assuredly. But more than that, and I cannot stress this enough, Satan seeks to draw us away from the Creator toward himself. Through deception, he has the whole world worshiping the Antichrist, and the whole world believes they are worshiping God.
