I had similar thoughts, but God corrected me quickly. I realized that our place isn't to judge people outside of the church. It's God's job. (Corinthians 5:12-13)
At first I said, "God I don't know who to pray for or how. We know there is evil work here. Just the children and the churches? The families? Your believers?"
And then I heard a response, "All of them just the same."
So I realized, the Bible says let God take vengeance. Not ourselves. He says to pray for our enemies and in Proverbs 24, "DO NOT rejoice when your enemy falls."
Our job is to pray for them. Many there did not. We need to. You know more than many there do about this, so use wisdom where they can't.
JESUS said to even pray for those who persecute you .
Notice how direct and grave JESUS had been against the pharisees and etc
Notice how dire and grave stephen had been when warning the people
Notice that on the cross JESUS still prayed their forgivness
notice that even after the people stoned stephen he still prayed that sin not be laid to their charge .
We have a problem today .
Either some have taken this lovey do cushy road that supports sin , wont correct squat
or some others desire the destruction of their enemies .
What we need to do is Learn the bible well . YOU SEE a well rounded pattern . they werenot
kooshy non correcting cumbia let us be one people . THEY did warn , they did correct
BUT ALSO FORGAVE those who persecuted them . THEY JUST NEVER CONFORMED . that be the key .
DO not conform to the world , to the lies of many even in pulpits
Rather learn the truth in scripture well , follow and HEED the SPIRIT , learn that pattern very well
and TRUST in GOD , ,not in men .
