"Church-ianity".....we have a problem! For others reading this... you will note how ScottA is hanging all of his beliefs on Matthew 11:14, which ironically is Jesus trying to get the people to listennot said mockingly but ironically!
Matthew 11:14 And if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah, who is to come. 11:15 The one who has ears had better listen!
Two points
1. Accept John as Elijah and allow him to prepare your hearts to accept me or perish! (no other opportunity once you are dead!)
2. John is Elijah "who is to come"...Christ acknowledges a second messenger!
Very easy to interpret, if you have ears to hear.

What Bible has [ both John and Jesus] stated as such in Matthew 11:12?"Church-ianity".....we have a problem!
The KJV states Matthew 11:14-15 this way:
[12] And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven [both John and Jesus] suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
[13] For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
[14] And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.
[15] He that hath ears to hear, let him hear [the KJV].
I see it, but you really don't!!
I see it, but you really don't!!
Are there not a remnant of Jews being converted to Christ out of every generation, since Pentecost?
Pentecost IS Joel 3:14 BEING FULFILLED, simply known as "the valley of decision", aka this present Age of God's GRACE.....TO ALL.
Try not let "church-inanity" cause you to lie to yourself. It is THE generator of all the denominationally flavored Bible versions.
The "Two Anointed ones"* were both taken by force. What Bible has [ both John and Jesus] stated as such in Matthew 11:12?
As well the valley of Jehoshaphat; decisions the judgment no one knows the age of that.
John said the kingdom is near, it's about One, and there's nothing wrong with making a comments on the verse but implying the concept into the verse isn't wise. The "Two Anointed ones"* were both taken by force.
John-beheaded and Jesus Crucified.
* KJV Zechariah 4[12] And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil** out of themselves? [aka the Holy Spirit].
[13] And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
[14] Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand [H5975-fast, firm] by the LORD of the whole earth.
** Note: see Matthew 25:1-12 about "oil", which is symbolic for the "anointing" of the Holy Spirit.
Of all people who have lived, only John and Jesus were physically born WITH the Holy Spirit.
Your not letting scripture tell the whole story your coming up with your own.Sorry, it appears that church-ianity got the best of you. I can't help you, "go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourself". Matthew 25:9
All good, you dont see it otherwise you would have stated it clearly in line with the prophecies already mentioned. It's an event we are discussing but you have something else in mind.I see it, but you really don't!!

You however, can see the event.Your not letting scripture tell the whole story your coming up with your own.
Joel 3:2
2 I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will execute judgment upon them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations: and they have parted my land,
12 Let the nations bestir themselves, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there will I sit to judge all the nations round about.

God's judgment of Eternal Life was for to negate His judgment of eternal death through having faith in Jesus. The judgment in the valley of Jehoshaphat is John 3:18.Your not letting scripture tell the whole story your coming up with your own.

Yes, why don't they??Jesus said it of John, and yes, His words are spirit.
Question is...why don't you and many count and receive what Jesus said?
No, KJV-Joel 3:14 says this:[14] Multitudes, multitudes IN the valley of decision: for the [terrible] day of the LORD is near [at any time] IN [during] the valley of decision [the age of Pentecost- God's Grace].John said the kingdom is near, it's about One, and there's nothing wrong with making a comments on the verse but implying the concept into the verse isn't wise.
Luke 11:13, Romans 8:9, Revelation 3:20.I don't recall asking for any oil, what's the verse got to do with the price of eggs?
He sees the event according to the wisdom of men, aka church-ianity. 1 Corinthians 2:5.You however, can see the event.
Most Christians dont allow the prophecy to speak for itself. I am yet to deal with Armegeddon - I am sure we will get to it eventually.
Luke 11:13, Romans 8:9, Revelation 3:20.
No, KJV-Joel 3:14 says this:[14] Multitudes, multitudes IN the valley of decision: for the [terrible] day of the LORD is near [at any time] IN [during] the valley of decision [the age of Pentecost- God's Grace].
Matthew 24[35] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
[36] But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Romans 9[28] For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.
Wake up!No he did not because Malachi 4:5 is left unfulfilled sorry!
The work of restoring all things with Israel is a future work not yet started.
Be patient it will happen!
