So do you claim for yourself that you keep the ten commandments?
I keep/fulfill what applies to me. Already been over this in detail.
Welcome to Christian Forums, a Christian Forum that recognizes that all Christians are a work in progress.
You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.
We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!
So do you claim for yourself that you keep the ten commandments?
OK, so you admit you do not keep the commandments. Fine.
No. Some posters have said that the ten commandments need to be kept by believers. So when it seems a poster may be of that mind, I need to ask.I've been saying all along that believers do not have to keep the literal sabbath. So if you're desperately hunting for hypocrisy in me you're not going to find it.
Now we seem to be getting another story from you. You seem to now claim you do keep the 9 commandments. Why not be honest and clear. Write a post with just a yes or no to answer the question. (apparently the 'no' I saw in this post was not really a no. So, do you keep all the tenGuess? Why do you have to guess? Of course I and other Christians keep the remaining 9. And when we fail at some point the blood of Christ cleanses and restores us. The remaining 9 are not in dispute here.
commandments all the time, yes or no?
I think he considered himself a wretched man. He did things he did not want to. I think he tried to keep the law as best he could. Of course he did not. This is the common erroneous thinking of people in the church. They have been taught that any and all law keeping is without exception the attempt to save yourself by your works. It's only that if you are doing it for that reason. Paul kept the law and I'm pretty sure he wasn't doing it to try to earn justification before the Lord. Do you think he was?
I do not care if some folks feel a need to go to their church and perform certain little rigamaroles on Sat or not. I do not want them telling others that they have to do so also. Just like I don't care so much if some believers feel they cannot eat meat. I do mind them telling others they can't.Don't be judgmental. Many sabbath keepers do it for the very same reason non-sabbath keepers must 'not steal', 'not murder', etc. God is able to work it out with them if they are doing it to be justified.
Honest is the word we are looking for here. They understand that where there is failure the blood of Christ is there for them just like it is for us in our failures. You were in their face about it and most people on-line know not to load the guns of their enemies for them by being as transparent as you were demanding they be.
So do the ten commandments apply to you, yes or no? No detail needed. You did say you kept them all, no? Or are you saying only some of those apply to you?I keep/fulfill what applies to me. Already been over this in detail.
Husbands and wives have to stop listening to people like you and start understanding that they belong to their spouse. And to touch or even think about someone else who is married to another person is to infringe on that other person's marital right of ownership. Your liberal teachings about marriage is what is driving the increasing divorce and immorality in the church. Congratulations. I'm sure there's a reward waiting in heaven for you for that.
One's view of Christ is how one upholds the law of Moses, not tramples it down and casts it away as most people in the church believe.
You are incredibly ignorant of scripture.Hold up...stick up....hold hard.....hold over our heads......More circle talk....No Law in the Old Testament pertains to Christians.
Faith in Christ upholds the law of Moses (Romans 3:31). You can't say that without saying 'law'.What your saying is wrong and between talking in circles and the side of your mouth....Look at your posts it is all LAW.....LAW.....LAW
.....LAW.....LAW That is not Christian. Try being Christian.....Christ.....Christ.....Christ...Christ See the difference....if you want to be a Jew quit fighting it....be a Jew.
I see. So now you seem to be falling back to admitting obeying 5 of the commandments? More? You have then never looked at a woman to lust. Never found something and not returned it, or gave yourself the benefit of the doubt on taxes. No lie ever. Great work.
Very saintly. In all the people you dislike, we would not ever call that hate. OK. If we did, then of course we would also have to call it murder.
All who are sanctified by His blood are saints.
Of course that is a one way street. You never trespass against them. Only them against you.
If you keep all the commandments all the time of course you have no sins or trespasses to confess.
I see. So if there is a TV, nothing ever comes over it that you don't like?
That does make sense, if you are pure as driven snow and never trespass
or sin
naturally your house would be a holy place as well.
Do you bother having a toilet? Or do you poop jelly beans too?
Of course. If someone cusses in a restaurant, or sneezes too close, or has a dirty mask on, or music, or if a supermarket also sold porn etc you shop at a pure establishment.
So do the ten commandments apply to you, yes or no? No detail needed. You did say you kept them all, no? Or are you saying only some of those apply to you?
I apologize for being so blunt for calling you out, but you say some of the goofiest stuff around here, and you say it with such self appointed authority, and that's the part that I can't bear. I don't consider you smart and educated. I consider you overly and self-righteously opinionated. Friend, you're a narcissist. Come down off your high horse and be like the rest of us. Opinions are fine, as long as you offer them as opinions and not as some kind of privileged revelation that us peons don't have. That is the abuse you take when you know the facts. There is no opinion here, it is all facts. Religions based on popular beliefs and traditions and silly people are usually wrong....that is no fault of the smart and educated.
Luke 11:4 Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation. If you keep the commandments, are you a sinner? To be clear you are saying you always keep the ten commandments, right?Thank you.
Hate means, strong dislike. So what?
No kidding.
I didn’t paint a one way street. Trespasses happen betwixt people all day long, so what? Deal with it.
Men trying really hard to keep all the commandments of God......FAIL.
Men “WITH” the Spirit of God “IN” them, have a WHOLE different POWER in them that can not fail.
Trespassing between men happens. You never without intent bumped your shopping cart in to an others ? That is a trespass. Did you not learn to say pardon me, excuse me? Do you not know that is asking them to forgive you of your trespass?
LOL, haven’t watched TV for years, don’t have internet subscription, Never had a newspaper subscription. Never been on facebook, twitter, don’t have credit cards, don’t borrow money, don’t have debt, don’t have a doctor, don’t get flu shots, don’t take drugs, rarely eat fast food junk....so probably not like what you typically do or people you hang with...and fine with me....to not do what everyone else does!
^ FALSE. I never said that. I said deal with it.
^ Correct. 1 John 3:9
^ Sure. Every place the Lord is present is a holy place.
Now you are showing your true self....Trying to be condescending you show yourself to be ignorant.
What a weird comment. I’m not responsible for what others do! Don’t you know enough to remove yourself from what you don’t like or tolerate?
Either you keep all the law or you do not. Be honest. Obfuscation is lying.Look, I am not required to yield to your demand to answer your question with your choice of words.
I’ve addressed your question with MY words.

Can you stand before The Eternal and tell him its ok to not follow the Sabbath Commandment, like he told us, and worship on Sunday instead. Its called respect for Gods word. Bible Study...What did God say he would bestow on all who follow his commandments and Holy Days.
Can you cite Paul or John of Jesus telling us the details of a sabbath commandment? Can you stand before The Eternal and tell him its ok to not follow the Sabbath Commandment, like he told us, and worship on Sunday instead.
