Should they throw out all evidence? If they are trying to help people I don't think that is evil. Praying to God and being a Godly people is crucial for discovering the truth that is lit by God in the spirit world and also the world of science and medicine.
We know God commands the devil to depart and in other ways. Does that mean he will command the devil and light up the truth in a way that we want? God will do his will and sometimes our own and we should pray that God's will be done and not our own. But we do need to be judged in the end on what we desire. I desire to follow God the Father, Jesus the Christ and the Holy Ghost. Heavenly mother and God's Angels can also give direction from God.
