I am disturbed by these practices. I recall reading new testament scripture and the struggle between the Romans and some of the authoritarian Jews of the time against the Christians that followed Jesus. There was among the followers who witnessed the family of Jesus, his Mother and also followers. Some of them denied him in an offer Jesus gave to be crucified along with him. Instead he was crucified along side accused thieves. And a sign placed to mock him openly in an attempt to probably warn people of what would happen to them if they followed Jesus or his, as they considered it probably, defiance of the authoritarian Jews' organization. And behavior in a manner similar to that, which is different in action, such as beheading and imprisonment, with other punishments, is still going on in some countries today.

Jesus in spirit showed me visibly Him on the cross. And said what it represented. And the scriptures also speak of that image that is his body and no longer mocked on a cross with a sign reading, "King of the Jews". He is risen and has a body and blood of eternal life now and has ascended into heaven. God is Glorious and Almighty with Power to save His Children. What does the scriptures say about that image long ago:

John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

I will not write what Jesus told me the crucifixion image represented. But I will say this about seeing Him in vision on the cross. I love Jesus and didn't like seeing him hurt. It hurt me to watch it.

I can't say what his family and followers felt witnessing it back then, so I will not suppose that I know what they went thru. My belief is that it wasn't a pleasant experience for them either.

It was something that Jesus had to do without us, and succeed in saving His family which are the children of God. And so I await in hope to be joined with God and Heavenly Mother and the Angels as part of their family in Heaven someday.

Jesus and the Hispanics name, Jesus, are the same.

Call a Hispanic named the latter by the former and they become upset.

This crucifixion stuff is pagan. Not Christian nor of Christ.
