Why do you feel like your mind is messed up for real?


Do you find it interesting that while feeling like that you came to a Christian Forum to express your concern?

I mean, it seems to me that if a person's mind is really messed up they would not even turn to a Christian Forum, but the mere fact that they did in fact turn to a Christian Forum, to me, shows that they have a good amount of wisdom in them, even during the hard times - unless they are just being sarcastic of course.

Seeking prayer, is a wise thing to do, and since one of the names of God is Wisdom, then it would have to be God doing some work in you in order to be seeking prayer when you feel you have a problem - and that doesn't mean you mind is messed up but only that there is a battle going on in you. And we all battle with the dark forces of this world.


Still, let me give you one piece of advice and I will also put in a request for you in a similar manor as I explain.

The advice is to seek the Lord our God and what He has to say to you. It is written:

Luke 11: 9 - 13 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
“For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened.
“Now suppose one of you fathers is asked by his son for a fish; he will not give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?
“Or if he is asked for an egg, he will not give him a scorpion, will he?
“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?”

Now the Lord tends to speak in parables and sayings (Ps 78:2)

So let me be so bold as to help with the above verses. If you ask the Father for the Holy Spirit, and seek Him, and knock on the door (Jesus Christ - See Jn 10:7) will not the Kingdom of God and so the Holy Spirit be made available to you? Of course He will be made available to you, but do we believe it. If so we ask and listen inside us to hear the answer and wisdom (which must already be provided to you to some extent). Do we not know that a fish was an early symbol of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit in us is like and egg that causes us to be born again - where as Satan is the snake of old and has dark forces who tend to sting like scorpions in the desert.

Therefore also pray yourself, and something like "Jesus Christ how to you feel about me", and listen in your spirit because it is written:

Romans 10:8 But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,

I tell you truly, it is easy to hear from the Lord, via His Holy Spirit talking to your spirit which we pick up in our heart, of perhaps even coming out our mouth?

And so pray - "Jesus Christ how do you feel about me?" and listen - but don't stop there, because don't you want Wisdom?

Prov 1:20 Wisdom shouts in the street,
She lifts her voice in the square;

So a wiseman, one who mind is not so messed up, turns to the Lord and listens, and asks, seeks, and knocks so that they find wisdom.

Prov 7:4 Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”
And call understanding your intimate friend;

Again the Lord tends to speak in parables and sayings. Do you not know that Wisdom is a name for the Holy Spirit and Understanding a name for Jesus Christ, who is the Word of God, and knowledge a name for His Father who knows all things.

Prov 2:6 For the LORD gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

So the Lord gives us His Holy Spirit who does not speak in His own initiative but takes the words of God from the Son, Jesus Christ to whom His Father gave Him all things including the words of God, so understand is His that He got from His Father who knows all things, like what you personally need to hear. So the words of God flow from the Father, through the Son, to the Holy Spirit to your spirit.

Jn 16:13-15 “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
“He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you.
“All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.

But perhaps I have made it to complicate. It all just means that we need to ask the Lord for help and listen to what comes from Him to our spirit, so that we find His words in our mouth and in our heart. Ask Him for help and listen. It is life to you!!


Jn 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.

Start reading the Bible and pray. Find some comforting verses in the Scripture to meditate upon...to mull over.

The Word of God is alive and can bring you healing in your mind. Think upon some of God's promises in His Word when you are troubled. Learn to take the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

Read Ephesians chapter 6 to learn about the Armor of God.

Well said, Brother! Psalms and Romans both came to my mind when I read His posts.

When you have chaos in your mind that is the law of Entropy working. A scripture:

Romans 12:2
2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect..../NLT

A person can totally reprogram their brain into new ways of thinking in about 21 days. You see, the way that we let God transform us into a new person by changing the way that we think is actually an easy thing to do at home (in 21 days!)
What you do is to immerse yourself into the word of God, your bible. Read it like a madman for hours everyday and just look for the wisdom and keep that. The bible tells you how to think and what to think about to protect your mind!

So if you were to saturate your mind with the bible for 21 days...you would be thinking a new way and you would be at peace. (ask me how I know, Lol!) That's how you do it.
You can do a search on youtube for videos by Caroline Leaf because she talks about the dynamics of it. She is some sort of scientist or doctor or something that started making videos, good videos!

My advice is, God helps those that help themselves. God wants to see an effort on your part and sincerity. When He does see your efforts (and hear your prayers!) He will answer you and bless your thinking and begin bringing order to your flow of thoughts.

Dont think about negative things. Dont dwell on the morbid. Ask the Lord to forgive you and restore you.

I know how you feel, my mind was so messed at one time, that I ended up having a nervous breakdown, I was a new babe at the time...

God will get you through, eventually he will break through...just wait and see...Praying for you and just to let you know, that you are not alone.
