What is in north carolina sister . i am just curious is all . BUT yes , LETS always praise and thank the LORD .My heart is bursting with such gratitude to our Lord that I have no more words I can say! Oh how He provides
God willing I will be moving from NY to N.C. very soon. The Lord has provided a buyer without a realtor so I will save much money and will only have to pay a lawyer! Next door neighbors brother REALLY wants this property and has already got bank approval!
Two friends from my church were here today for over an hour helping me to gather all the tree limbs and branches that were blown down over this fierce winter, as I chain sawed the 3 trees that came down and it was all done before the monsoons came back!
How He provides for me, thank you gracious Father, my heart is bursting right now...you come through like always, thank you, thank you thank you!
Now, to keep all these things in remembrance when times are low.
He is so good and never changes like us fickle humans.
Very grateful child.

You’ll only be about an hour from us. Our daughter lives in Randleman North Carolina and loves it. It’s right near Greensboro but more country land. Level Cross is nice too!Oh wow, you are the 3rd person on here who lives there. I will be settling in/near Greensboro!
This is true. The Sweet Lady loved that aspect of the culture. SoFla had a strong New York flavor, so if somebody started up a conversation, they might receive a "getouttamyface" in return. The contrast with NC was noticeable.Don't be shocked when a stranger starts talking to you out of the blue, because that's the way it is in the South.
You are moving into the bible belt you know. Tons of Christians. Once you visit a store or town you'll see the difference. Smiling faces and friendly people. Don't be shocked when a stranger starts talking to you out of the blue, because that's the way it is in the South.
I do have to say we have friendly people in Los Angeles...of course, I am usually friendly first. This is true. The Sweet Lady loved that aspect of the culture. I'm so glad you live around nice people, and yes they are every where. But here in the south, not only would somebody bring your groceries to your apartment, but they will also probably sit and talk and visit awhile and make sure you are fine. Then don't be surprised if someone offers to pick up the groceries for you next time.I do have to say we have friendly people in Los Angeles...of course, I am usually friendly first.
One time I (senior citizen) was struggling carrying groceries home. A young man came by and insisted on carrying my groceries all the way to my apartment building!
Another time I fell flat on my face as the subway car restarted and stopped suddenly as I was rising from my seat with groceries. I couldn't get up....two young men lifted me up. Another gathered my purse and groceries which had flown all over the floor! Another pushed the emergency button for the driver to come.
Just a couple examples...

That's great, you must live in Southern California, to get the southern flavor. lol. Great neighbors you have, we should all be so lucky.I told the young man to just leave my groceries in my lobby....as he was a complete stranger.
My teen neighbor that used to drive me to Target for groceries would not accept any money for gas. He would also insist on carrying my bags into my apartment. His mother usually gives me a plate of food at Christmas, sometimes Thanksgiving. Another neighbor gives me food and snacks when her husband brings some home from work.
My other neighbor phones me each week to see if I need any groceries. If I need a big order I have delivery from Shipt...but since mom died last June I haven't been ordering as many groceries...so my neighbor gets things for me.
Other neighbors said if I need anything to let them know. Edgar who let's me use his Wi-Fi said if I'm ever sick, they would take me to the hospital even during the night. So I am really blessed with kind neighbors.
Yes, Los Angeles is in Southern California. Been here since 1967. From Pennsylvania. That's great, you must live in Southern California, to get the southern flavor. lol. Great neighbors you have, we should all be so lucky.
