I checked up on this thing about sin tax. People think it there are certain sins, like drinking alcohol and using tobacco. And governments are calling it immoral and therefore a sin. Like they are making up there own ideas about what is right and wrong and therefore good and evil, and that is outside the direction as established by God in the bible.
When I was looking into the issue I found this little nugget:
"According to the American Cancer Society, as many as 20 percent of people in the United States who died from lung cancer in 2018—a total of roughly 30,000 people—never smoked." Lung Cancer in Nonsmokers
And what I found is a number game deception and strong delusion the USA has put on the less intelligent public. At first look this seems to suggest that more people die from lung cancer when they were smokers then non smokers. But the truth is much different. Allow me to explain:
First when I did more research I found that the percentage of non-smokers that died from lung cancer was about 25%. That means of the total number that died from lung cancer 25% of the non-smokers died from lung cancer, and then we must conclude that 25% of the total number that were smokers we could not tell if the smoking killed them at all. So in conclusion, 50% died from something other than smoking, while the USA would like you to conclude that the other 50% died from smoking. But the truth is that we clearly cannot tell if smoking was in fact at all a factor in the deaths of the lung cancer patients at all. And that is the number game that the USA has been beguiling the population with.
Let's examine why: There are some possible reasons for this deception, the first is the "Sin tax". Lets face it the government makes a large amount of money off of the "sin taxed" items.
The bible prescribes alcohol for various reasons:
And wine to those who are bitter of heart.
Again a crazy and beguiled world we live in.
I should say that cigarettes are addictive and the reason physically that they are addictive I can't legally say. But I don't like the idea of people going to their death for lung cancer and having some crack pot doctor saying it was their fault that they died. And I don't like people telling other people something is going to kill them when they can't even figure out the math and number game that the smart people put on them.
